From what I can gather Zarya likes fashion and style. She's the only character with such drastic changes in hairstyle with every epic skin. She paints her nails, dyes her hair, wears makeup, and wants Mei's coat because of how nice it is.

Zarya is pretty good. Your barriers immediately restore people to full movement if they're being slowed, and obviously protect them if they're frozen and lining up the icicle.
