Just get all the stuff and put it into an apartement in your country.

That depends on many factors.
Gear, class, position in a bossfight, ping etc. play a big role in DPS.
But if you have compareable gear to your other party members and are not held back by boss mechanics or ping you should consider to ask for advice on DPS rotations and other gameplay tips if you are more than 10% behind your party.
It can be more for certain classes but you should notice if somethin is off.
This is what dps meters are for.
They should not be used to gloat.

You need to be a certain kind of person to really enjoy that and/or to have a real reason to be going there (i.e. job, marriage, whatever).

The issue is that you will be alone. Now I reckon you'll say that you already are alone, but it will be different. You won't have any family members to ask help from should things go south at any point, for example. All of your friends and acquaintance that you may have had will be left behind.

You will feel like an outsider for a good while, especially if you're moving to a country that speaks a language you have yet to grasp. While younger people often talk in English in many countries if needed, they are quick to switch back to their native language in social situations where you are the lone English-speaker. Furthermore, at least the Japanese are notoriously bad at English, and I reckon Korea isn't all that much better in that regard.

Additionally, if you're moving to a country where the ethnic majority does not share your ethnicity, you will likely feel even more like an outsider than you otherwise would. Though white people are unlikely to face harsh racism in Asia, for example, you will still be "that white guy" who people seemingly want to befriend, but only because it's cool to have a white friend. At least that's what some childhood friend's older brother said after living in Japan for a year.

That said, if you can secure a job abroad and feel like you have nothing to lose, why not give it a shot. Just that, there's a lot of negative sides to it too that you should at least acknowledge before jumping in.
