are you familiar with how the data api and third party sites actually work in reality? it's not updated instantly, not even automatically, and it's delayed (and occasionally down half the time because rito). don't use the third party sites if you want up to date data

if software crashes your computer (and not just that particular application crashing), that is an operating system and/or driver deficiency at best or a hardware issue at worst. riot has a lot of spaghetti in their code for sure, but crashing your computer isn't one of them.
