once notoris printer is set up 51 inch prints, that he can't cut because his plotter is also 24 inch

i dont think anyone /osg/ has a plotter+material bigger than 24 though
i've never needed more than what i have for my locals though i've considered going bigger, the size of the machines is not worth the extra waste material when doing the far more common reasonably sized jobs.
even the wall art ones arent worth the difference between seamed and seamless for the drawbacks.
aside from that, most large designs can be pieced together with no issue really
biggest thing I've done was lettering for a billboard, each letter cut out separately and then applied
