Vega Wagon

Do it

>implying the MGB is shit

The only thing it needs is a 12 volt electrical system and it becomes the literal perfect starter classic.

Shiiit mate, actually, I always kind of liked the desing of the Edsel. Shit is just...impressive.

Shit electronics

Shit everything

Shit everything

It already exists. And it has a race bonnet. Sorry.

...

That IS sexy

You don't really know anything do you?

>sc'd 215 + T5
Sounds like fun desu

I like the look of everything posted so far.

First car for me.

77-80 had a 12-volt negative ground, brah. For the last years of its life, the MGB finally became reliable enough to DD.

Well, if you stick an electronic ignition in it, at least. But every old British car needs that.

>he goes into a roast thread and gets mad when roasted

I reeeeeally want one, but a manual awd turbo non crossover in good nick is impossible. And non existent with the good 300hp one.

>Can't turn
>Lardassed v8 with shit fuel economy
>Slow by modern standards and boomer taxed out

Did you post this on your bus ride home?

neato

enlighten me

What's wrong with F-bodies?

Also an engine swap fixes the horsepower problem

There isn't an unriced example left on the face of the planet.

and it's still faster than whatever you own

Chill user, it's straight talk not shitposting

I asked and got an answer that's all

This car is a beautiful convergence of congruity. I want to know the person who owned this car.

Please tell me I shouldn't buy one in a few years

>DS

Have fun finding a mechanic that can work on it.

Already have one

Too low to be practical compared to Impreza or BMW 5-series wagon of same period
AWD system wasn't up to par

Are you retarded?
That's a Dodge.

Have fun paying him. Even the Citroen-supplied shop manuals are useless for actually working on the damn thing.

Beautiful cars, but absolute nightmares to maintain.

More like RUST amirite

k

Slow and can't reach its full potential without modification.

In a nutshell, that's every car ever made. Name one that comes perfect from the factory (that isn't german)

There's "Not perfect from the factory" and then there's "Needs extensive modification to become the car it's advertised as".

*whoosh*

Still got my (You)

Such as the fiero.

>i get it now

british engineering is shit

there's a reason they all died while the germans flourished

No, British LEYLAND a shit. MG had the best build quality of the whole company by a wide margin and had the best inroads with the American market, but BL execs hated the brand because it was from the BMC side of the merger. They were left to try and hold up Austin and Morris (and consequently got no money to design new shit) while Triumph got unlimited funding in their neverending quest to find new ways to make engines blow their headgaskets.

easy mode

It doesn't specifically have to be diesel but I like the sound of them

The drivetrain is unkillable. The rest of the car is most definitely not. And everything, including the automatic transmission, is vacuum powered. It is entirely possible to fuck up your shifting by doing a sloppy oil change.
