Mitsubishi Lancer. Really hard to see with that other car in the way but you can tell by the brake lights.

could it be a saleen?

>Montana plates

Because of course it does.

It's a white VW beetle
You can't see the top half of it well because it's blocked by a tree and looks like it has a black ragtop but the body and brake lights are a dead giveaway

Looks like a GTM built with poor taste.

Go back to /b/

It's a Volvo SUV.

some sort of dodge

a tax dodge

mid 2000's Ford Mustang
I can see the prancing horse from here

ROUSH

HAHAHA

C...could it be? Kinda looks like one but I cant be sure?

Fiero with a body kit.

Looks like a s7

the saleen s7 has a smooth roof, no ridge/valley like that.

The height and width ratio shortens the possible choices...

This pleases me

I got you, OP:
>looks like a kit car
>search "kit car" on the googs and scroll through the images
>eventually spotted a similar-looking rear fascia

I can confirm that it's an RCR Superlite.

Shitty looking superlite coupe

Ur McFucking stupid.

>laughinggirls.jpg
>hes never seen a superlite!

Not him but it actually is. Superlite Le Mans

kinda hard to tell with the sign in the way, but it looks a bit like a 2010-ish taurus

Seems like you're the stupid one here because it actually is a Superlite.

apparently it costs $115,000

>$115k for a kit car

They didn't even bother taking off the Momo logos.

It's a mustang

lmfao stupid tripfags

I was about to say. Isn't the superlite just a kit car? A tube frame with fiberglass body panels? Dunno how it can cost 115k. Hell you can get a Factory Five GTM for $25,000 and still look just as good.

>Go on SuperLites website
>SuperLite GT-R
>Basically a Ford GT clone

What about intellectual property rights?

Or can you basically build a tube frame with a fiberglass body and can look the same but as long as you name it something else its legal?

Ive always been confused with kit cars/ clones. I have no problem with them, cause i personally would pay for a fake one over a real one anyday.

>Or can you basically build a tube frame with a fiberglass body and can look the same but as long as you name it something else its legal?

That's the one.

>Dunno how it can cost 115k.
It's really easy if you go for nice parts. Sure the kit isn't too expensive, but things like paint, custom coachwork, and a nice engine add up fast.

hehe

I think you'll find it costs a hell of a lot more than $25,000 to end up with that result.

So technically because your selling a kit and not a full automobile regardless if its a clone and name different its legal.

FFS why havent I gotten into this business yet?

Imagine making a fiberglass bodies of the Skyline, Supra, RX7, NSX, etc. Building a tube frame and putting said fiberglass body on frame then selling it as a kit with a different name? Profit much?

Superlite (using it as example.

Superlite Type-S-Skyline
Superlite Type-S1-Supra
Superlite Type-R-RX7
Superlite Type-N-NSX

>I think you'll find it costs a hell of a lot more than $25,000 to end up with that result.

Im well aware, but you don't have to put the money into it that others do. Just the base car is good enough for some.

>naming it something different
>using the same name

Guy line
Dupra
DIX7
NSEX

Even the "base car" will end up costing a hell of a lot more than $25k.
Seriously man, you can't set a price on building a kit.

Sadly it can't be anything close to the same name, otherwise auto manufacturers would come after you.

>Guy line
>Dupra
>DIX7
>NSEX
heheheh

This is high unless it has the Ford GT transaxle
Usually cost around 90k with the LS9
