Threadly reminder that Vayne Solidor did nothing wrong.
Hudson Baker
DeNa gives mechanist to everything that breathes in the near vicinity of something mechanical.
James Sullivan
WHO /PULLWITHME/ AT 1 AM PST HERE?
Levi Foster
>o-oh I meant another banner... >getting tricked again
Easton Nguyen
He also didn't do any actual fighting, so that means he gets 5* Support too.
Cooper Wood
And he's quite honorable, better give him 5* Knight and Samurai
Andrew Price
Idunno, support assignment has been significantly more logical than mechanist. Not that that's saying much, but still.
Robert Robinson
Don't believe this user's lies!
Gavin Stewart
I asked to pull that time and I did pull. Fuck that guy that said that shit what a bitch.
Andrew Brooks
>Ondore >Honorable You've been believing his lies, I see.
Ian Parker
He fights real hard, you know. 5*Combat
Also he's a bad guy. 5*Darkness
Hunter Wright
Not this time. Can't wait for this fucking banner to disappear forever.
Luke Bennett
Well there are other shit fighters, non-fighters, and mostly background characters that got Support just because. Like Gordon, Minfilia, and Larsa just as a couple examples. A lot of Supports in RK don't really make a lot of sense, and one of the main characters that fit the skillset (Auron) doesn't even get Support 5 even though both of the 5* Support skills are literally his.
Brandon Campbell
>both of the 5* Support skills
Caleb Flores
Tfw i can chase anything i want now
Beatrix bsb here i come
Noah Turner
Full Break and Entrust in his sphere grid?
Jose Morales
Justice Monsters V out yet?
Chase Allen
You missing something here?
Cooper Roberts
Larsa makes sense as support because it's a meme in Japan he chucks potions at you all day. They even turned him into a literal potion seller in Revenant Wings because of it. In IZJS, he replaces the infinite potions with Bubble: the best support move in the game. I wouldn't know what other category to put him under besides support.
The Auron thing is bullshit though because he's literally Breaks: the Character in X.
Carter Myers
In V, can you Mimic Dualcast, or would it just choose one of the spells you used?
Jaxson Scott
Coochilain was easier than I thought, only had Ramza's armor as synergy and both Tactics 5* relics. Though RW Shout helped a lot and I had a native wall which helped against that fucking Bioga.
Connor Myers
>"Entrust is a Special ability found on Auron's Sphere Grid. It costs 8 MP to use, and..."
Wow fuck, you were right. Swear to God I didn't even remember it being on his. My bad, anons.
Carson Sanchez
So I just watched the movie and now I don't get the lore.
Weapons literally clearly made swords unnecessary. So why are there so many retards running around with batons and swords in a war just to get mowed down?
How come the Empire has all those Weapons at their disposal?
Tyler Rodriguez
He is possessed by a spirit.
Let's throw in 5* summons too.
Ayden Moore
I think so. You would mimic both spells.
Hunter Torres
I know a torrent is up but is there anywhere you can go to buy the digital version of the movie?
Andrew Williams
Larsa fits Support when it comes to the word itself, but he doesn't really fit what the skillset actually is which is almost entirely based around debuffs. It isn't really the same as his potion spamming (which is represented quite humorously in his SSB), or his Bubble casting, or another thing in IZJS that I remember which is his early Shades of Black. ffrk-movie.static.sp.mbga.jp/soul_strike/11200800/20160523__RY9tY-ew8g.mp4
I don't unnecessary is the word you're looking for here user.
Adam Perry
Good and flexible healers like Y'shtola or even Eiko are too mainstream. Fuck that shit, amirite?
Parker Bailey
Literally nothing wrong with that. They are the best class.
Joshua Martinez
>it's a I Forgot to Change Synergy Equipment dungeon
Goddamn Nightmares
Jason Morgan
Gimme some time to complete this Nightmare battle.
Xavier Scott
Like you ever have anything on a white mage besides Curaja + Shellga/Protectga anyways.
Brandon Myers
Mobius going down for maintenance in 20 minutes.
Thomas Barnes
>got +60% hp bracer for auron >only way to survive is have auron tank and have everyone with reflect >after 10000 years of dealing 5000 damage it does >Ultima
Thankfully I still win because back row people got a turn
Aaron Russell
I use Vanille because I'm too lazy to hone anything 5* past r2. Even then, I can't remember the last time I brought something other than Curaja/Shellga to a fight.
Andrew Sanders
You say it like having flexibility in a character is literally hitler, it's nice to have a WHM have like BLM 3* so they can fulfill blind without fucking with the rest of a physical setup. Or summoner, for many reasons.
Jaxon Baker
shitter detected
What is Diaga? What are summons? What are breakdowns?
Ethan Bell
WHERE
IS
MY
PINBALL
GAME
OP????
Matthew Turner
You're the only one that will notice, user.
Adrian Allen
The Best WHMs have BLM 5*.
Fact.
Nolan Gomez
Fuck you, you goddamn tree. Go back to being OP in Exvius. I want none of your disgusting void here.
Michael Green
None of those things can replace Curaja/ProShell which a pure WM does just as well.
James Taylor
Yeah, but you're rarely going to make use of that fact.
>not going to be used without another character that has 4* WHM unless it's sub-100 content or you have something like Tyro's BSB >Yuna is shit and a fair few other characters have at least 4* summon that do it better anyways if you need a summon around >There are other, better characters that can do this, unless you completely lack them, but you'd probably have a second WHM in that case anyways.
Tyler Russell
Sometimes you don't want pro/shell, sometimes you don't have space for it due to conditions, sometimes you RW them, sometimes you're doing a speedrun and curaja is literally dead weight.
Please use your brain, just because you are tunnel visioned in playing a certain way, doesn't mean it's the most effective every time.
Sebastian Foster
>i'm shit: the greentext
ok
Bentley Lee
>sometimes you're doing a speedrun and curaja is literally dead weight. >Speedrunning a phone game
Dominic Johnson
In a game that lacks challenge, speedrunning brings additional depth and challenge, so what the fuck are you going on about?
Isaac Stewart
Is FF Dimensions any good?
Evan King
Gotta win them internet points somehow, user
Carson Hall
Personally I think there's too many fucking SBs throwing any combinations of Protect, Shell, Regen, Haste in all sorts that too often you do free that slot.
Nathan Lopez
If nothing in RK is a challenge, maybe you've whaled too hard. Either that or you've been playing way too hard and fried your brain if you think speedrunning is actual depth and/or challenge. But you're probably going to pop back with the whole "If speedrunning isn't hard, why don't you have a WR in something" bit anyways, so why do I even bother?
Jayden Martinez
Sometimes putting Breakdowns on a goddess like Y'shtola will free your "support" some space for either even more breakdowns or simply actual damage on a slot.
Ryder Cooper
>Whaled too hard Never spent a dime and I'm not a day 1 player either.
And the reason I do the speedrunning is solely because I find it fun, it's not to show off or to measure dicks, it's just to push things to their limit. Hard or not wasn't even my point, only that speedrunning is something that gets by blood pumping when doing.
Noah Reyes
Please use your brain and realize that because you can imagine a scenario where something may be useful does not make that scenario relevant enough to consider. It seems you are trying extra hard to find a solution for a nonexistent problem.
Hudson Nguyen
They have speedrunning competitions on Reddit. You should submit your time, user-kun. =3
Chase Howard
>Mary sue: cat version >Goddess
You're wanting your blood pumping in a phone game user, think about this. This is worse than those people who speedrun an actual final fantasy.
Carter Ward
Ironic shitposting is still shitposting. Let's be done with this topic anyway, what have you guys watched lately?
It's cool if you don't like it, every person find their own way to have fun and all.
Henry Torres
Speedrunning games is entertaining though. I've learned a lot of cool tips, tricks, glitches in the FF series from watching runs. And I usually only watch an hour or so - who knows how much knowledge I skipped!
Jose Ward
>P-Please stop bullying me! Make me, loser.
Brayden Morgan
I really don't know if she's a Mary Sue in her game or not, but I'm just referring to based Y'shtola's awesome skill set and SBs.
Lincoln Price
No one is poop posting, silly. xD
If you enjoy speedruns, why not add some competition to spice it up? Kick some Redditor butts for us! (^_^)
Anthony Morris
Do these FF mobages have a story completion point?
Leo Cruz
Speedrunning itself can be neat, depending on the game. I just don't see the appeal in an 8 hour "speedrun". Sure, there are a few interesting glitches and stuff even in FF, but christ that's a long time to run something.
user, stop.
You too.
Mason Reed
Her SB, SSB, and BSB are fantastic, right? She's really grown on me since I got Thyrus a while back. Don't give a damn what she's like in XIV because she's the perfect WM for me in RK.
Blake Scott
If you mean the Kingsglaive themselves, their swords are literally magic and let them teleport among other things. Lucis itself is also really big on WE WUZ KINGS, so by keeping it old-school they like to pretend how much better they are compared to the upstarts like Niflheim.
Liam King
It's kinda weird because I think Mobius and Exvius must at some point, because there's an actual story and you can only keep that shit going for so long, but Record Keeper's a weird one. It LACKS a story (there's more of a shitty reason than an actual, progressing story) so you'd assume it can keep going forever, but the fucking stages are the stories from old FFs so at some point it should run out of stages to leech from...
TL;DR: user I don't fucking know, I hope you didn't read all that. Shit, man.
Gabriel Russell
Only have a heal SB from Ramza. Zidane had Shift Break, Refia has her SSB, Y'sholta has wall, Tyro has his burst. So 2 attackers using damaging SBs, 2 support/attackers, and one healer with holy and wall.
No need for wall until the damaging type Biola comes out roughly halfway into his HP.
Thomas Lewis
The BE devs confirmed in an interview that they do not and will not have an end for the story. There's no satisfying conclusion to be had, and they always have donuts to make.
I guess they think It's sort of like those soap operas that go on for decades.
In reality it'll be more like those shows that get cancelled midway through season 4 without ever ending.
Lincoln Cruz
So how good is Drain Strike in RK? I've been keeping it on Squall and he's gotten good use out of it, but is it worth keeping around?
Brody Roberts
BE is super slow. The game's been out for a year and we've only seen 3 of the Sworn Six
Dylan Cook
RK has a background story and OCs, but yet to start the actual plot.
And we're a long way from completing FF stages. Still numerous long final dungeons, Tactics, 2 MMOs, and possible other games like sequels and spin-offs.
Chase Martin
Used it for the Ultimates and Nightmares, it's still great.
Logan Harris
The thing that passes for a story in RK is some "mysterious darkness" trying to cover up all the paintings that depict the stories of the various FF games. When they introduced the Nightmare Dungeons Prof. Mog said something about a clue to the source of the darkness being at the bottom of the Dungeons.
So maybe when the Nightmare Dungeon is completed we'll get some sort of resolution. That's 7 months away in global, not sure how close it is in Japan. I think it depends on if SE thinks they can still squeeze money of the game or not, the game definitely has a "we're making it up as we go along" vibe. And completion of the Nightmare Dungeon will also mark 2 years since the game launched.
Carter Cruz
Ah ok. I'd be more interested in these if they had an end point, and then after that was collecting each game's whatevers and doing side stuff like events.
Ah, okay. I can write off BE and RK then. I will just play World of FF for my FF crossover itch. Justice Monsters V seems more appealing to play on my phone since it's just a pinball thing.
Isaac Lewis
The problem is there's no money if you have an endpoint.
There are literally unlimited mobage in Japan, all vying for the attention and hikikomoribux of a thousand, clammy japanese NEETs. If you put an end date on it, you lose your audience.
Christopher Smith
IIRC the Empire's magitek weaponry development exploded only recently, which tilted the balance of power for good.
Dylan Gutierrez
We still don't have a FFBE full party. We only have Lasswell, Rain, Fina, and Lid. I'm guessing once we have a 5-man party, we're gonna start reaching the end.
Gavin Butler
Mobages generally try to exploit people's gambling addiction tendencies. If you don't have those, most mobages are boring as fuck and feel utterly pointless.
Cameron Garcia
even if they finished off veritas or whoever the current main antagonist is, they can just made up a new villain and start a new arc like one of those jump mangas that never end.
Robert Kelly
I agree that it's too fucking slow, what it does is making me lose interest instead of keeping me around. It feels like some InuYasha shit where the most inane bullshit needs to be some months long arc. Did we really need to take the entirety of the previous island just to escort a fucking random child? To find out Dr Unscrupulous EvilBad, PhD has SOME connection to the big bad? Back to the awful InuYasha example, is this not that asshole final boss who was ALWAYS the culprit that tainted/controlled/deceived/empowered the current arc villain?
I understand that this feels like the kinda thing that once you start the service, it never feels like a fair time to take it off, you'll always have relatively new players and customers you might be fucking over, or old ones if you just decide to move to a new game. I gotta say my one only gripe is how when they DO take these games off, they don't even bother to just give a good conclusion. Like when Chain Chronicles was shut down in Global. Just out of nowhere, boom, fuck you people, we're closing in a month. What story? No fuck that, get out. Feels like they should have an ending in their pocket ready to deploy whenever the service ends.
He says it will "calm down" at some point, but that they expect to keep milking it forever. hit it directly on the head.
Ryder Johnson
Could totally see them doing that. They could even add 5 more story characters, so we'll have 2 sets of full party like the main FF titles.
Aaron Peterson
RK is fun. Who cares about the original story. Seems like a trivial thing to worry about.
Nathan Wood
Then perhaps I'm in the minority because it's the awful gambling that keeps me away from them. Then again, perhaps I'm just one of those that can never be satisfied because the gambling is rather toned down in Mobius but I dropped it because I disliked the ability progression.
