the big pedal is the accelerator. It makes the car go. the next pedal is the brake, which slows or stops the car. Cars with manual transmissions usually have another pedal which comes next, and is called the clutch pedal. that picture with another smaller pedal is a foot operated parking brake.
I was warned that this is not the best place to learn about cars but I wanted to see for myself. LOL. have fun.
