When he draws Arondight he can't use KoH and he has no defense against GoB, if he doesn't draw Arondight he has no defense against Ea.
Lancelot is no pushover for sure, but he can't actually win against Gil if everything he has can only force a stalemate and he can't use both at the same time.

Saber with Shirou as Master dodged hundreds + 3 increases during the final battle, but it left her without air. In Zero she thinks that uninjured she could handle a thousand. And Lancelot is superior to her in skill and stats while using Arondight as both Berserker and Saber.
Nevermind the fact that Arondight didn't completely block FSG in Camelot so we don't even know how the block works as Saber.

Arondight doesn't give a shit about the type of beam because it has infinite durability, although I can totally see Lancelot getting knocked out like Mashu if the beam is too strong, although I'm sure that was Mashu's own fault for thinking she couldn't block.
