You can get beat down pretty hard sometimes sure, but endless heals with PoTF and good stolen minions and huge yoggs can bring you back pretty quickly.

Yes. I usually push to hit rank 5 on the last day or two. I know it's just all about queuing up with some mindless hunter, zoo or shaman and eventually the win-streaks pull through. It's just too boring.

I'm rank 8 but I only played on the days of wing releases, I don't know if I should bother grinding to 5

I spent all month trying out new decks so I only got enough ladder play to get to rank 13.

I probably wouldn't have gotten much higher anyway, I just don't have the patience or skill.

either get rid of the velens/mind blast shenanigans and go full res priest or get rid of the res stuff for more draw and burn for a burst/otk deck. you can't do both and have consistency with the deck.

Play Malygod for the other spell damage card and just make the deck into a Maly/Velen burn deck.
Add in Yogg too if you want an alternate win condition at the cost of a little consistency off the Barnes.

zoolock is generally the best deck for beginners since it's a very nice introduction to board control, tempo and efficient trading while being really cheap to make but dragon warrior is more aggressive and more linear in playstyle
