Started three or four months ago and finally completed Final Coil.
Despite running it unsynched, taking hours and hours to put a PF group together, and dying and wiping here and there it was a worth all of that and it was a very fun experience (I was hoping more from Flames of Truth but still enjoy it immensely) and enjoyed bringing along other players who hadnt experienced it yet.

Id love to go at it again to get the Answers scroll, but is it better to farm it unsynched and fight 8 others for it or try and convince people to run it at min ilvl 8 times?

Farm it unsynced as a 4-man with 3 friends. You won't be able to convince anyone to do it synced.

Do not sync it, very few pubs can do that fight

Unless you wanna get a queue started with hardened raiders from here, you'll have little luck. Why min ilvl?

min ilvl guarantees 100% an orchestrion scroll drop. Or at least thats what I remember T5 duty finder saying.
In any case I hope top one day run the fights "proper" or at the very least get good enough at the fights and tanking to be the one to show them to players wanting to clear them.
Especialy T9, the whole fight is pretty fun and easy to memorize besides garrote twist mechanics and identifying whos gonna get fireballed.
