I disagree. Frost has amazing survivability if you know what you're doing. The amount of CC, defensives and escape mechanism that you have means that you can get out of some pretty sticky situations.

Obviously, any class will have difficulty fighting off 3-4 players hell bent on ganking them but frost mages stand a better chance than most.

14th skill point costs more than 1-13. Since you won't have Artifact Knowledge yet to make those 20/35 AP tokens any better its overall better to just throw them into your alt spec instead of try to get the 14th trait on main.

If they were to make the world larger, to compensate for flying everywhere making it seem small, you would just whine about long travel times anyway. This might lead to blizz giving us ridiculous flying speeds, and if so we're back to square one.
I like keeping flying limited to certain zones designed for it, but to also have a way of quick travel across the whole world(flight points and portals).
