Planefriends came and started planeposting. One or two autists made a huge shitfit about it (even though the general was already dying at that point) and caused them to take flight and create /simg/. Some fags from /a3g/ plagued the general for abit since theirs died. The biggest factor being wargames and RTS in general have a small community and Red Dragon which was the driving force on /wgg/ is dying. With few new games to discuss, the general died. They're creating more nations for RD(Netherlands, Israel, Finland and Yugos), so hopefully the general can be reborn.

depending what's inside. If it's just multilayer plate with empty space like Leo's NERA, you take off whole thing, disassemble it, replace damaged part, assemble it and put back. If it's container holding dozens of small plates like side armor on Abrams, you open it and replace damaged plates with new ones.
but generaly, since it doesn't explode like ERA, it will protect effeciently aganist multiple hits, unless by some luck RPG hits exactly same spot at exactly same angle.
