First for the crippling realisation of that fact.

At least there's the C1 loop for Ass Corsa and rFactor, right?

Sick pussy, killer tits, tight ass. I also go by my nicknames, The Rational Atheist and The Ethical Atheist.

why the fuck WingMan Formula Force GP is in the spread sheet? it's ancient as fuck, has no shifter, next to no rotation, 4 buttons total.

at least put Momo Racing Force instead of is as entry choice for poorfags, it's a bit less terrible.

it does nothing for me
nothing can fill this void anymore

Genki made a game called Shutokō Battle Online, however it wasn't released in the us. I wonder if it is possible to find a download and possibly set up a server.

>4 buttons total
6 actually, 2 "shifters" behind wheel + 4 buttons on front

Because if I remember correctly there was one person who used it. I also use to use mine before I got my G27

i'm looking for interesting open-wheel cars for assetto corsa, something unique/characteristic - like lotus 49 with it's enormous engine and no aero or 98t with its stupidly huge turbo.

Any recommendations?

>Genki will never make another game

I'm pretty sure their Twitter heavily implies that they're either considering it, or working on it.

>lose to team leader
>go back to different city to upgrade car
>come back and can't find/summon the team leader
w-will i be able to 100% the game?

>open-wheel
>interesting

ayyyy i tried.

Fuck this template

can't be bothered to try and fix the lines near the airbox, fuck it, no one will notice anyways

>no one will notice anyways
This much is true of anything you are doing anyways.

thanks senpai

Wasn't that Import Tuner Challenge?

>“We [Gran Turismo] won’t be taking any money for it, but to the FIA or your local automobile club, you may need to pay an annual fee, which is normal for any racing license,” Kazunori said.

Such is the life of a degenerate.

You do realize that this is for a real FIA licence.
You know, the thing you need when you want to race in real events with real cars and everything.

>was looking forward to the RX 480

That was an April Fools joke, and a savage one at that.
ITC was Shutoku Battle X in Japan. Was that online one ever properly released?

One of the Freeway Speedway / Megalopolis Expressway Trial films, I think.
If it is, I'm pretty sure they're on YouTube.

don't fucking get a shitty AMD GPU. The fuck is wrong with you my snekbro

>it was an april fools joke

>try to remember when that announcement was made
>beginning of april sounds about right
No, just no. Please no. I thought it was real this whole time.
I just don't know how to feel right now.

Genki Racing Project was shut down by the parent company ten years ago, my man. I'm sorry to break it to you.
The Wangan Midnight PS3 game was the last thing they did, I think. That's where the rF/AC conversions are coming from, too.

Shut the fuck up before i curb stop you nerds

>Edward Norton is shitposting in this thread right now

>Genki Racing Project was shut down by the parent company ten years ago, my man

N-no ... NO! I don't believe you! What year is it?!

imgur.com/a/uFLCg

What happened to that team then? Did they form a new company or join an existing one? Or are they all pretty much ded?

That razor-thin roll hoop always cracks me up

genki des ka ?

what is the most enjoyable game they made ?

I just downloaded Dirt Rally but it crashes on launch. Apparently this is a common thing but I can't get any straight answers thru google. Can anybody help? I have an older machine but that shouldn't be an issue

The acuracy of the rf2 dw12 is pretty shit

My video card is DX11 compatible so I dont think that should be it.

From steam store page
>Supported Graphics Cards: AMD HD5000 Series, HD6000 Series, HD7000 Series, R7 Series, R9 Series Nvidia GTX400 Series, GTX500 Series, GTX600 Series, GTX700 Series, GTX900 Series Intel HD4000 Series, HD5000 Series

Don't see your card there, might be that it's not supported.

I've been holding out for as long as possible on upgrading and I'm afraid it might be time...

silent crashes are a pain to solve and can be caused by weird shit
(on some computers call of duty 4 would crash on start if headphones were plugged into the front panel)
hopefully you can find a crash log or someone who has the same problem

the hd 4000 and hd 5000 cards are not so different from each other
you might be able to scape past

Hd 4000 doesn't have dx11.

yeah it does

it has 10.1 ?
gamesystemrequirements.com/game/dirt-rally

youtube.com/watch?v=uDL000MPBQ4
also found this but it seems dodgy

explain to me how im playing dx11 games on intel hd 4000 then?
notebookcheck.net/Intel-HD-Graphics-4000.69168.0.html

hd4000 does support dx11. it's weak as fuck, but it has dx11 shaders/tesselation/whatever.

even your own source disagrees with you
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_HD_and_Iris_Graphics#Capabilities

>Radeon HD 4800

>Intel HD 4000

...

nice, you played yourself
look in the Ivy Bridge row where it says intel HD 4000, then look further and it says it's DX11
upgrading soon™

I think you are confused
notebookcheck.net/Intel-HD-Graphics-4000.69168.0.html
ctrl f
DirectX DirectX 11, Shader 5.0
you can get a nvidia 4800 now as well
and in the past a nvidia 5800

that's what i was just saying? it does support dx11

man the makers really did fuck up the names the last few gen
now each maker has products with a very similar name

>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radeon_HD_4000_series
>Direct3D 10.1

we were talking about INTEL hd 4000

see

holy shit man upgrade your pc it isnt 2009 anymore

>TXR games the only games I play anymore

I don't know why I'm so addicted. They're mediocre if you think about it and if you've played one you've played them all, but I just bought a Dreamcast so I can play TXR1/2 without emulating.

Slowfag here. What's the most effective way to become fastfag?

8 hours of sleep

Have someone who is fast, or at least faster than you, to help you by giving you pointers.

>tfw can't have decent 8 hours of sleep, ever.
Such is life, as a wagecuck

Nonsense. Just cut the time you spend masturbating in half and you can get plenty of sleep.

Brake earlier.

More throttle, less brakes

dive bomb turn 1 on cold tires/brakes

Don't brake

That race was great

senna died going flat out, thats because fast racing drivers dont brake

Yeah m8, my job is about 2 hours from home. So, 4 hours on daily commute, 8 hours at work, another hour for lunch... 13 hours gone. Factor in 8 hours of sleep and i'll have 3 hours left of my day to live.
Seriously. Kill me.

Sounds like you need a new job, friend

...

Good times

Use a controller

I actually need to move.
I live too far from the city centre, where 90% of the jobs are.
This is life on Huezil's biggest city. I actually live just a few miles from Interlagos.

Nice GT Academy line, ya fucking console pleb

...

/ovglfs/ when?

buy a decent wheel and pedal combo
play r factor

Honestly it is as simple as going out and running some laps. While running the laps make it a goal to drop some amount of time. In your head develope ideas on how to do so as you drive. If you've done this and still are stuck, check out onboards from faster drivers, apply general ideas from there driving to yours. Overall if done right, you'll be easily able to apply your skill track to track and see a massive improvement in pace.

>SP
how are those traffic jams treating you?

The way you go fast/improve your lap times is by developing a rhythm while driving. For the most part you can achieve this by simple just lapping. While lapping make it your goal to drop time or get close to your best lap time each lap. I myself find that coming up with ideas while driving on how to get faster is a great way to do this. Apply these different ideas while lapping, such as using a different gear one corner, different approach to the corner, etc. Checking out faster people's on boards will help you brush up on your own line if stuck. After developing your line you'll find that you are much more consistent and have found the rhythm. And also you'll find yourself being much quicker out of the gate when you find yourself driving on a new track.

I tend to be a more interactive learner myself, so for me this has been the most effective way to become faster. I've see that doing stuff such as pretty much does not work as well for anyone past that one race weekend if they are lucky.

to clarify what others have said about no braking
if you have good lines you don't need to slow down as much or shift as much weight backing off the throttle and lock is enough
(back off steering lock to avoid too much lift off over steer)

when you do brake only do so for corners you really know need it, most courses only have three or so corners like this
also remember that you do not have to come to a stop, nor do you have to brake early as some corners have a later apex than others

and here are some quotes from famious racing drivers
>if everything seems under control you're just not going fast enough
>when it doubt flat out

youtube.com/watch?v=IZw7ZnxWKjs
azquotes.com/author/37100-Jackie_Stewart

>free up 1 1/2 hours
>watch this:
>youtu.be/xQRmYMlmdqM
>afterwards, practice with simliar cars to those in the video (rF2 and iRacing have modern Skip Barbers, Reiza games have the Formula Vee)
Congrats, you're fast now.

If you aren't though, keep practicing until you are.

Thank god i leave the office past 8 pm, so it's not that bad.
But, if you take the bus, it uses the bus-only lane, and don't suffer much from all the traffic jams, specially around Ibirapuera.
If you DO go to that part of town, I feel sorry for your poor soul.

This is really a double-edged sword. While it'll help when hot lapping by yourself, getting into a rhythm is something you should only be doing if there's no traffic around. But the biggest issue is when people just hotlap like that, they only really learn that line. So when either overtaking or defending they're mostly helpless. Trying to understand the basics ideas and learning to apply them will help the most. Do as many pick-up races as possible to learn how to deal with human drivers.
