You could try Cannon, it's the least squishy ranged class. Can also +50 your set to get the - damage taken bonuses and facetank everything even as ranged.

And does defense have a use?
From 6k to 10k defense it still says takes around 520 dmg from monsters.

AK has more players on weekends mainly because raids can only be done on Sat-Sun.
