Anyhow, I chose to save him... even though I quickly dropped him afterwards. I thought we were going to be bros for life but I got real sick of having to input combos for two characters and found someone else who was neat.

It's a solid plan to scoop up a bunch of shitgames, pretend to advertise for them (or hell, actually do a little), and then rake in a sweet ~30%.

Nope, but if it helps, I'm thinking of translating it. The japanese's pretty babby so far and the games in this series aren't that long.

I'll do my best. For now though I'm sorting out with the translator of the first game (which is actually the third) an issue with display text in the battles. After he solves that, I'll post the translated game here (if the thread is still alive). Also, the games are mostly standalone so it doesn't hurt that much to play out of order. All you miss is some inside jokes.

What's the game about?

In a nutshell, one of the protagonist's pet cows gets abducted and he embarks on a journey to save her. Each game of the series has a different story, though they mostly share the theme of alien abductions. The second game (the one I'm playing) is notorious for the absurd amount of gore, though.

Many of them are. A few aren't at all. This one, and 5 ~ Fury ~ in specific are notorious for the enormous amount of gore.

RPG Maker has a scripting language built in. You can do anything.

Some things require weird/wonky workarounds, though.
