Guys, this is the first time I came to this general, just to ask one think.
Why do people prefer Oldschool Runescape over the newer versions? Did it used to be less freemium or something?
I'm asking this question because I think I'll start playing it again and I don't know which one I should play, and I'm also legitimately curious because I played it for the first time in 2010 and this oldschool version is from 2007.

they are two totally different games

the membership content isnt the same. rs3 has some new quests, and the new (read: gay) combat system, some new skills which are mostly aids, and is overall easier due to various features like challenges

Well, I just wanna play the less freemium version (I remember that when I played in 2010 you only had access to a really small percentage of the map/quests/skills if you weren't a member).
Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like rs3 has much more content but it really doesn't matter because almost everything is member only.
I think I'll go with the 2007 version.

How many points per hour do you guys get in nmz? And how?

If you want fast points and don't give a fuck about money, use multi-target ice ancients (barrage or the noob one whatever it's called)

Last time I did NMZ I used melee and wore full vestment and melee protect and did the rumble mode where I can select my enemies, and just did enemies that only use melee (and not the annoying ones that knock you down or whatever) and brought a bunch of super restores or ppots

I could do that but I'd rather not spend the money and my magic is only 70 so I feel as though it wouldn't be that effective. I'm just curious because doing endurance hard mode (with all but 2 bosses unlocked) I get ~515k points in just over an hour. This is a pretty good rate compared to when I tried various rumble strats but I've leveled a bit and have gotten significantly better gear since then.

What method/gear do you use? Also what are your cb stats?

Anyway, this comes down to 1 of 2 things:
>He is not always praying melee (or he is fighting against ranged too) and therefore needs defensive stats, in which case Verac's is better than Nezzy
>He is always praying melee and is only fighting melee opponents, in which case he should be using a mitre

Either way, Nezzy is champ-tier. Literally as bad as obby set and cb brace.
