So I'm trying to git gud with Reinhardt. Should I be aggressive or should I just hold back with my team? If a mix of both, is there a particular time or situation to be aggressive?

It was a respawn with the match close to ending so we were just trying to haul ass to get there as soon as possible.

why do people still use mercy

she has no survivability, no aoe usefulness, and no useful offence

Her healing is strong, but it's not enough to support one guy while 3 are being battered

Every game with a mercy that I play, she just gets killed loads of times and only ever temporarily becomes useful with her rez, usually resulting in even more ult feed or insta deaths

Compared to her, lucio has ridiculously movement, strong self and aoe healing, and the combined application of speed boosting/health boosting makes his team far stronger

zenyatta can melt tanks and defend himself fairly adequately

Mercy just has literally no use

Have your shield up to cover your teammate and let them shoot trough, use firestriker to bait zarya's shield, scare roadhog or lure the other rein only. Charge only if you see a good opening on 1-2 enemy, sure that no one will get you after.

It's a mixture of both but always mantain your shield first. Watch out for Tracers and Reapers.

Go in to clean up a won fight or catch a retard out of position, since your team's just going to run out in front of your shield anyway.

Don't walk around with it up to just get it hit. Give it some time to rest and recharge. Corners and walls are your friend.
