if they have rage it will spend that as well to make the heal instant cast, it still uses mana too

maelstrom accumulates through spell usage then dump it all on certain spells for damage, kinda like combo points.

Mindbender(Twist of Fate on fights where it'll have 90% uptime)

Halo(Divine Star for times when everyone is grouped closely)

Purge the Wicked(the only real choice in this tier for now)

malestrom is just a resource, it's like rage, you spend it to use your abilities, that's it. there is no extra damage or scaling based on how much you spend except for lightning bolt if you take overcharge.

The only thing I have trouble with is the withered in Suramar because of their ability which increases their attack speed by 300%.

Also get Hydraxis as your combat ally for a free lay on hands every 3 mins.

So far Paladin, Priest, Mage, and Warlock all seem pretty shit with the prepatch changes so I haven't felt like playing much the last month.

Been leveling a mist weaver monk slowly though, but have no clue how they perform at 100+. Did I make another mistake?
