The kind that comes off my neet acne skin mate.

50% marvel mystery oil 50% Lucas upper cylinder lubricant

a light brown-yellow colored one. only when I check it later, someone else too it out and put black oil in it! is black oil cheaper or something?

Factory OEM, obviously.

Bertoli
>It's extra virgin just like me.

...

Mine says 710 on it

SAE 30

Only the best

...

I use supertech bar and chain oil
in everything

Anyone have more kek worthy aussie products? I know there was another one but I can't remember what it was

...

Fixd.

5W-30 synthetic just like my GM car manual tells me to use

5W-20 synthetic blend just like my Ford manual tells me
>tfw did my first oil change today
seems like I did it right. babby is growing up

Wait, Shitbox oil isn't a shoop?

Nope.

>seems like I did it right
If you didn't you'll find out soon kek

yeah that's what I figure
But I took it out for a drive and it doesn't seem to be leaking or anything. Guess I did ok

Hey its friendly S54 guy. Thanks for the help with the oil, decided to go straight OEM tho when ECS had that free shipping sale.

quaker state m8 it's top r8

>tfw it's not available for purchase on amazon

...

>order piston diverter valve for GTI from ECS
>next day get email about free shipped deal starting

Does anyone else ever look at motor oil and think "that would be the tits on some pancakes"?

Ugh I needed to order a bunch of shit but was busy and missed out on that deal this week. This was from the BMW oil sale a month back. Should have called and cancelled or asked for free shipping, their customer service actually isn't that bad ime, breddy gud guys.
Change gear oil and you'll never feel the same again. That fucking sweet stench. Nauseating.

Sup bro

You ever try the Mahle filter?

Whatever the oil cap says

Not much man, got the oil changed, now its time for new front pads and rotors, and FCABs. Figure ceramic pads, undecided on which poly FCABs to get. Think my Z4M is offset while your M3 is not, so makes shopping a bit hard.
I got the Mahle but the one stamped OEM. For a few bucks more in the ECS package figured why not. Next time tho will get the Mahle since it is obviously 100% the same. Compared it with your pics, only the BMW PN is missing. Thanks for that help btw

...

rotella t6 5w-40. all the mazdaspeed guys use it

With me, I bought a second set of ZCP wheels, went up 10mm width on the rear, and had my expansion tank fail on me while 30 miles from home. I overhauled my system, but didn't do the tank as I didn't know how to tighten the type of clamp used on these cars. I had the tank and was forced to fix it the day it failed.

Other than that, all is good with mine.

I've been in my 4runner a lot lately and likely gonna make the M3 a weekend only car. It's just so unusually hot and humid out. I hate it even being out of the garage.

Nice, that is the one nice thing about the drop top, feels good soaking up that sun with the AC on full blast in 100deg weather. Guess I also bought new Stromung cans but I'll save the pic as I want to post it in /bmw/. You ever sell that old set, still tossing around the idea of buying them and getting them refinished but the VMR 710s keep calling me.

No they're still stacked in the garage dirty as f.

I was gonna get the brake dust spots off before I start taking pics.

Truthfully I've looked into getting them refinished and it's gonna lessen the "shine" they have as when you buy them from BMW. Even with the other set I have, they are noticeably different. They are real, but the finish BBS applied to them is something I don't think can be replicated by getting them refinished.

It's more like a metallic, dipped look and refinished ones have a sprayed look. They still look good but they just don't appeal to the eye as much.

>Never owned a car that didn't take 10W oil

who here is part of the master race?

Go check the archived Veeky Forums oil thread to see what people are using.

This shit for the CL9 Accord Euro.

Rotella t6 5-40 or supertech if I don't give a shit

7 fucking quarts of STP motherfucking 20W50 because the goddamn rear main seal is leaking and I can't be assed to undo the motor mounts, undo the transmission, undo the fucking drive shaft, lift the engine half an inch, and then fuck around with that shit. And a Purolator PureOne oil filter, because I love that fucking knurled exterior.

Penzoil synthetic 10w-30. 5 cylinder master race

Oil for Audi A3 3PA 2.0 TDI

Valvoline HD Diesel 15w40 for my 5 cylinder panzer.

why does a 5 banger need synthetic?
i tried both ways and mine runs the same. its not as picky as older engines are.

even my motorcycle runs a little warmer with thinner oil, but my 5 banger runs good on any oil

>Titanium
What is it with Castrol and idiotic deceptive labeling?

Pennzoil platinum 5w-30. It's based.

Whatever the dealer puts in as part of the three year service plan.

Do they even have lawnmowers and tractors in Australia? I mean it's not like anything grows there.

m1 15w50

for muh flat tappets

I prefer zero weight oil so it leaks all over the place.

I never have to change the oil, just add every once in a while.

It does contain titanium, just not in any significant quantity

> 7 PPM

pqiadata.org/CastrolEdge5W20dexos1.html

(PQIA has yet to do an analysis of their 10W30 oil)

Here's 0W-20, 7 PPM again

castrol GTX 20w-50 conventional

...

is there much benefit to switching from an xw-50 to an xw-40?

Where do you live?

Amsoil Metric Motorcycle 10w40 in my 2001 R6, Penzoil whatever the fuck(15w40?) in my 2007 Shitbox Grand Dix.

5w40 Rotella T6 in my E36 M3
10w40 Castrol PowerRS Racing 4T in my KLX250SF

Cheapest 5w30 Full Synthetic in my shitbox D16Y8 Civic EX. Currently has Mobil 1 0w30 ESP I bought for $2/at on sale at Advance

Just filled my EJ253 with T6

I run 85w-140 gear oil for dat oil pressure

The desert
I'm curious if there's extra mileage to be gained from a lighter oil

excellent anti wear too

Castrol RX Diesel 15W-40 in my old '91 Pajero.

I got it cheap when it was on sale and it does the job just fine, but I'll go with whatever decent diesel oil I can buy on the cheap.

We use Penrite at my workshop for all the cars, though.

I'm going to assume that it gets pretty hot there, so if it gets into the mid 30s, i wouldn't go down in viscosity.

To clarify, by mid 30s I mean degrees Celsius.

...

I use the cheapest shit I can find. Rust, Transmission failure, head gaskets, or other non-oil related bullshit kills my vehicles before anything that oil quality affects. I should up my intervals to 10k with wal-mart stuff. Wouldn't make a bit of difference

how much money is in this picture

a little bit over a hundred buckaroos

My nigga. Quaker state is fucking gold.

i want to use this but 15w40 is like $20 a litre

It's what the manual called for and it's what was in there already. Doesn't NEED it I suppose but it's better to run synthetic anyways

Castrol GTX 20w-50, just changed it 2 days ago.

1987 E30 325i

Focus takes Motorcraft 5W-20 semi-synthetic blend and that's all I've ever or will ever use in it. Decent oil but nothing special.

Benz I have put a variety of stuff in. Always use full dino no synthetics as it may leak more and I'm not going to be arsed to fix the leaks.
Winter I run a Valvoline or Castrol 10W-40 but in warmer seasons I plan on running (have never done but supposedly it can take it) a 15W-50 or a 20W-50 Shell Rotella.

Using 0W 20 castrol synthetic on my Mazda 2.

Also, got hit and runned in my work parking lot today. Fucking assholes.

I give $70 for the oil and filter and the coolant was almost $30.

i dont see any bmw requiring 10w60
are you one of those fags that thinks a heavier weight oil will help his car stop leaking? or with high miles?

Yo I use that too. 5W-40 in a 5W-30 car. Everyone recommends it on the forums. I am told that I need to warm the car up a lot in the Winter before driving.

I always use Mobil1

Is Rotella a meme? Genuine question

just put 5w30 in it fucking sperg thats diesal oil your putting in your gasoline car

My M3 does.

And my car is leak free.

Castrol actually was the default supplier of the oil specifically for my engine. Now Shell makes it. I use neither.
