Anywsys my dad has a 2013 Honda Civic, its not a bad car for commuting or A to B driving, its a decent car overall.
My dad is terrible with technology cause hes 61 but the touchscreen, bluetooth, and all that are pretty easy for him to use.
Road noise isnt bad either and it has decent acceleration for when you need it, remember its not a race car.

If i was in the market for a commuter car the Honda Civic would be my top choice.
