so i pirated crusader kings 2 and all it's dlc a month ago and have had a blast with it

anyway, i'm gonna buy it this sale and a bunch of dlc, was planning to get all of it but that comes out to about 93 fucking dollars

so my question is, what dlc do i buy with the game?

The basic ones. Forget content packs and portraits and soundtracks. Still comes up to whopping $40, though.

Order and Productivity are the two generic "good" choices.
Productivity seems the best when you're still an unciv or a brand-new westernized nation because you will instantly start bringing in more money, but in the long-term the bonuses are either really small, don't matter (tax efficiency bonus), or might actually be harmful (throughput bonus).
Liberty is mostly useless. Unless you're a new world nation it's pointless to take it, and no new world nation starts as an unciv so it doesn't matter.
Autocracy is good if you want a non-liberal government though the other bonuses are generally less good than say, order.
Equality gives a meaningless militancy modifier, although the culture tech bonus is nice. Basically should only take it if you want a socialist government.
Tradition is bad and you shouldn't ever keep it through westernization.

All of the expansions except Sunset Invasion is the only thing outright required. Frankly if you can stomach it, I would just buy the base game and pirate the DLCs, but unfortunately you need all of them to get the best experience with the game.

Cant play my CK2 converted save in EUIV. When I click on the mod it starts up a normal game. When I went to the file directory the converted save was just a empty folder is it supposed to do that>
