there have been a few guys that have posted some nice cars that I assumed were close to 30 that were shunned and rarely seen again
I've tried other forums, not as entertaining. I'm also not looking for car advice. I enjoy this banter but hate how people with a car that costs more than 50k are shunned here. but yeah I guess I shouldn't expect otherwise

Think about it, they probably run businesses or are in a position of power. Think of how damaging it could be to their livelihoods if their customers or partners find out they actively post on a mongolian basket weaving forum.
"Bread on hood" isn't anything to do with shunning or hating or whatever, it's just a way for people to prove it because in a forum full of teenagers and 20 somethings, everyone has a garage full of exotic cars and swimwear models if they don't have to prove anything.

"Normies" / rich / rarely can pull off banter because A) they've never needed to or B) nurture and environment don't allow it. If sarcasm is a coping skill they don't have it, money buys medicine. And favors. And vapid wives. It's getting better with the internet but if there's any 40-50 year olds on here please speak up, you know how the majority of your colleagues are.
