Do you really need that small car? YOu live in the US after all so it wouldn't be a problem to park a compact or a medium class sedan? I'm curious
Jaxon Ross
They're shit. Just get a chevy volt.
Robert Gonzalez
>chicago Buy the only one Twingo in the US from this guy
Julian Morris
lots of times assholes dont leave enough room to properly parallel park a proper sedan.
Bentley Johnson
>willingly going to shitcago wtf
Zachary Foster
Why not a kei car? could get one of these for 6-8 grand from canada, or you could spend a bit more for a Cappuccino or an AZ-1 if you want an actual roof.
Luis Collins
fiat 500 is retarded fun to drive. I am thinking about one at some point, they are just like driving around with a basket full of puppies.
Zachary Sullivan
Might be a bit iffy as a DD because hard to find parts.
Matthew Diaz
Why not the Fiesta? Dat ecoboost...
Chase Gonzalez
Japanese classics in virginia has plenty of honda beats and city turbo 2's with less than 20k miles on them for around 6-10k depending on if its still stock or not. Not trying to shill but they are legit id look them up. They even have supra mk3s tt z32s skylines 180s, cosmos, cefiros and laurels. All showroom quality with lower miles and not some crazy i know what i got price on craigslist. Oh yea any car on their website can be test driven and bought at their office in richmond the same day, if you see it online, its ready to be driven to your home.
Julian Wilson
Here is a screeny of one they just got earlier this month 50kms on it
Jaxson Stewart
>50k kms I doubt it. japs are notorious for rolling back odo's for exports.
Nathaniel Nelson
anywhere in the midwest?
Justin Lewis
>a Cappuccino or an AZ-1
i dont think you could register either of these in the usa yet
Jeremiah Reed
jdmautoimports.com/ I see these shitters' posts on craigslist sometimes, they sold a beat recently for a little under 12k. Cappuccinos just became legal this year (1991 models), it does seem that AZ-1s still have another year though
Nolan Reed
Get an Abarth so you can have mad hot hatch fun too
Evan Johnson
Hey bud, I just finished buying a subcompact after doing a few months of research. Here's what I got out of it:
>Fiat 500: Looks fun, my guilty pleasure, but FIAT ranks lowest in reliability. >Mini Cooper: Fun, highest quality, but lacking in room. I also wasn't a fun of the layout of the interior. Most expensive as well. >SmartCar: Incredibly overpriced, underpowered, and almost no room. This car is for people who drink Figi Water and are professionally offended by anything that damages their precious ego. >Fiesta: Top contender. You will probably be able to get one OTD new for >$13,000. I didn't like the interior. >Sonic: What I ended up going with. Got a new 2016 for $12,300 OTD. I love the interior, exterior, gas milage, roominess, instrument cluster, I could go on and on. It met all my needs.
Other options for that price include a used honda fit, maybe a used Mazda3.
Stay away from the Kia Rio and Yaris, they have tested to be underwhelming.
And if you do buy a Sonic, don't buy one from 2012, it was a bad year.
Leo Lewis
>pay $10000 more for decreased fuel economy
okay
Jack Wood
500 Stylish, nice colors, decent pick up. Comes in a nice 5 speed on the base model.
Tyler Garcia
Buy whichever one is the most chimp proof
Jacob Johnson
>RHD for a DD Yeah, why not...
Logan James
what about the Mitsubishi Mirage G4?
Isaiah Hughes
smart is the only rwd get the 2016 with a real manual
Wyatt Cooper
The Mirage is the Milhouse to the Versa. It's worse in every way.
Juan Carter
Get a big scooter you faggot.
Andrew Campbell
>Maximun manuverability Smart Fortwo Turbo (Passion, don't know if Pure comes with a turbo too, but avoid the MHD like a plague) >Ease Parking Smart or IQ >Good gas milage IQ
500 is more practical than the IQ or the Smart, and the Sonic is even more than the 500 But the sonic is god awful with a CVT and no fun allowed all over it 500 lets you have some fun if you bought and Abbarth with the turbo IQs don't know what fun is but are comfy Smarts can be fun as fuck if you flash the Engine and the gearbox ECUs to get it to shift faster and put 92HP to the wheels, also its the only on the pic that its RWD Avoid the Mini, Unreliable as fuck and only fun if you get the S or Works models, and by that point they aren't that good at saving gas, if you do get a mini NEVER FUCKING EVER get the auto tranny
Nicholas Powell
>Confirmed to have never driven a smart or just user turbo one 88 hp on a 700kg car is a pretty decent power to weight ration With an ECU tune, or if you were lucky enough to get a 2011 car with the factory Bosh ECU, you get 91 HP at the wheels If you are stupid enough to buy a brabus you get 102 to 112 HP depending of the year Gearbox is shit, yes, but the newest smarts come with a manual so you can go dorifuto on a smart
William Taylor
The new smart looks hideous, fuck that pedestrian safety nose, its disgusting and makes the car look deformed
Christopher Kelly
fiesta/focus ST or bust youre not even fucking trying
Austin Flores
>Don Dons, a friend of Don

Matthew Johnson

Ayden Cox
Friend of mine bought a Toyota Sera. They do good work. Good customer service.
Oliver Turner
I test drove a lot of used cars that were considered better. Mazda3s, Toyota's, Honda's, but it didn't fit my liking.
You know how your car feels right to you? How you can feel in your bones that it's 'your car'? That's what I got with a new Sonic.
I know the air intake hose is cheap and that it's an updated Aveo, but I love it. I love it like you love a first serious girlfriend. She's not the prettiest, or the most popular, but she supports you and makes you wake up smiling.
Other people might scoff, shake their heads, or wag a self-righteous finger. But this car is mine, I love het, and I'm gonna treat her like gold until the day she dies.
Brandon Mitchell
Cringe
Dominic Barnes
dumb fag who likes an ugly ass car
Lucas Carter
It's harder to park in Chicago than it is in the rest of the US, other big cities excluded. Streets may be bigger than a Euro city, but the parking situation is similar.
Hunter Hill
I'll just talk about the ones I've driven.
If you get the 500, get the Abarth. Not just because it's Veeky Forums and we're all about fun, but because the engine and trans are more reliable than the standard ones the 500 comes with. Abarth or bust on the Fiat, imo. Also, so so so much fun to toss the Abarth around.
The Cooper is neat, but I've heard bad things about the reliability post-warranty. That said, my dad has one that is well past warranty, and he has had no issues so far, he just maintains it and it keeps running. Great gas mileage, good on roadtrips and in town, the sport mode makes it even more go-kart-y.
Fortwo: It's RR, it weighs nothing, and should have enough power to move it. It should be good, right? But it isn't. It's awful to drive for some reason, it's overpriced, and the interior is the worst out of everything you have in that image.
