pigfat

>americuck is still triggered

holy KEK!

youtube.com/watch?v=Mh5LY4Mz15o

the consumer became a bunch of goys who view cars as appliances, and to remain profitable they have to adjust to the consumer's demands

It's crazy how pigfat Japans cars have become
The new NSX is about 4000lbs as well

I dont get we have the GTR the RCF the Sti the fucking NSX, and many more .. Japanese cars are faster than ever so what is exactly the problem

>automatic
>awd
>heavy
>over priced

etc

they got triggered

but those are just advances in technology and engineering characteristics

nah
rwd manual and light best
always

But a manual transmission makes you slower. More power can always compensate for more weight.

why is it slower then?

some people actually enjoy driving tho

auto is fine for an appliance, which is what the average consumer is/wants.

The new NSX is an american made Honda product.

The Japanese designed it. the engine, transmission, hybrid system. they were the ones who wanted it to be that way.

>some people actually enjoy driving tho

yeah, thats why you don't buy a corvette, so that you can't do several laps without overheating

dis
(obviously)
does anyone know the exact date when Jap cars became shit?

the last nsx was 2002 i think?

...

last NSX was pretty good tho

>For starters, it’s not built in any exotic location. Unlike other supercars built in Europe or Japan the Acura NSX is built in Marysville, Ohio. In fact, Acura insists that this is the only supercar DESIGNED, developed and manufactured in the United States.

>Acura insists that this is the only supercar DESIGNED, developed and manufactured in the United States.

kek GM BTFO

can't be a supercar if it can't lap a circuit

so?

So you are spreading FUD because the Japanese didn't design this car

\
The Type R was pretty much where the last NSX got really fast. (or at least fast enough to beat most of the competition) Honda said they were seriously considering a Type R version of the New NSX as well so it most likely will step on the toes of a lot of other super-cars.

Honda is a Japanese automaker.

And the engineers who designed this pigfat car are American.

The buck stops with the automaker.

They got fat and heavy and boring

They learned about JDM weebs and decided they had to put a stop to it.

>GTR
The GT-R is well out of our price and maintenance range, and the Z is overpriced for what it is (an outdated, overweight Jap Mustang). Nissan used to offer more for the average man who might've walked away from the lot with a Silvia or 4-door Skyline instead of a Maxima.

The S-chassis needs to make a return and the Z needs to be split into two cars; the heavyweight GT car and the light S30 sports coupe from which it is descended.

>RCF
Only offered in auto and not marketed towards the average buyer. Toyota made less and less sports cars over time but even in the 90s they were still selling the X-platform sports sedans and the 3S-GE Altezza RS200. Supras were still pricey as fuck but a new Supra with the difference spent in mods will probably punch a hole in a Lexus LFA.

>Sti
We've had that for years. It's just gotten heavier and fatter with the same EJ25T at its heart. Also with the Evo gone and the Focus RS a limited run Subaru has no reason whatsoever to keep it competitive.

At least the WRX has the new FA20T engine.

>NSX
"Hybrid super car" nobody will buy over a GT-R. At least the FK2 Civic Type-R is coming.

>Japanese cars are faster than ever so what is exactly the problem
How variety has shrunk. Nobody denies that the existing ones are more powerful than their 90s counterparts but look at how few are still offered.

>Nobody denies that the existing ones are more powerful than their 90s counterparts but look at how few are still offered.
You're comparing how many are offered now to how many were offered during the bubble economy years and shortly after. The whole "golden era" of Japanese performance cars was artificially inflated. What we see now is fewer models being offered because of fuel efficiency measures brought about by the JP government with tax incentives for eco-cars.
Performance cars are literally only for those who a) don't care about the environment, and b) who have money to burn on cars in Japan. It's no wonder the Japanese manufacturers can offer cars like they do now at all. To me it's astounding.

rice happened

The new NSX is 3800lbs, stop making up shit

>"Hybrid super car" nobody will buy over a GT-R
Pretty sure all 2017 NSX's are all spoken for

Rich people want a supercar, not a drivable Playstation

Plus your 200lb fat ass

the lost decade happened

Animus and mongos happend.

The ND Miata weighs just as much as the NA 1.6 Miata

>projecting this hard
