Why don't you own a RWD Toyota?
It's provides the reliability, quality and safety of Toyota with the true motorsport set up of RWD.
Absolutely flawless.

>RWD
no thanks. not for me. maybe it'll tickle someone else's fancy but I prefer driving FWD or AWD in motorsports.
>AE86 is rare
>Supra is pigfat
Neither has the reliability and fuel economy of a Honda Accord and is more enjoyable to drive than a Camry.
>Implying implications
My soarer leaves fat-ass 275 lines all over the place, motherfucker
in order of right to left
>pigfat
>deathtrap
>even moar fat
>kek
While the supra is pigfat it is also sexy, especially the third gen
because i didn't catch the gay

I plan to own a RA27 Celica, GA60 Celica XX, MR2 SW20, Chaser and a Mark II at some points of my life.
Toyota has equally good FWD and RWD cars from their golden era.
Why exactly is the mr2 such a deathtrap? Just too much rear weight, too little grip? also AW11 or SW20
All of those cars look bland, Boring and cheap.
Sorry. I'd rather have the rx7. It actually looks good and well thought out
Toyota is literally the lamest car company for the last 40 years. Nissan is better.
Because the only affordable ones left are mr2's and I went the gt-four route.
Maybe still get an sw20 if a nice rev 4/5 shows up or maybe even an engine swapped mk3.
Was the jzx100 any good to drive? Always had a soft spot for them but I imagine they're just a nice sounding drift bus on the road.
Because I own a Miata and the only RWD toyotas I would consider are TE27, W30 or the AE86.
MR setup and low price (making it acessible to young shitheads who think they're hot shit)
imagine a lotus elise costing >5000 $.
I also own a miata, unfortunately it was after a string of Toyotas, try one, they just feel like a better made item. Even old corollas have a "solid" feel to them which I haven't encountered in other normal tier cars.
The MR-2 is a death trap because it was one of the most accessible MR platforms that had enough power to get you in trouble.
Mid engine platforms are inherently good at directional change because the bulk of the cars weight is close to center. That can bite you if you're not careful as if the chassis is disturbed it can react quickly, and catch you out.
I do believe the AW11 was pretty oversteer prone as well but overall the MR-2's real danger was incompetent drivers getting ahold of a car that demanded some competency.
What Toyotas did you own? The Miata is quite weak due the lack of a roof, a solid mounted hardtop will help a lot.
A yaris a 99 corolla and a '94 st205.
It's not even the chassis flex or anything like that with my mx, I expected that. It's more the slight rattly/tinniness/impending doominess. The shitty door cards, the key snapping in the door, the rust, stuff like that. Don't get me wrong, as a toy they're awesome, but it's been awful as an only car.
But that is all stuff that doesn't matter exept from the rust, and you should have that fixed. And the chassi flex makes the whole car squeeke and rattle. Buying the GarageStar delrin door-bushing got rid of a lot of rattleing in the doors. If the doorcards are bad you can simply just buy new ones, that is one of the things that made me go for the Miata, the whole market of spare/aftermarket parts.
It's a pretty much stock na8, The further I get into miata/mx5 ownership the more I realise the hype really isn't about the stock car, It's about the potential of what you can turn it into.
As far as the rust goes, It's my only car and it's only surface rust at the moment, I plan to sell it soon too. The leaking power steering pump is a much bigger issue anyway, Give it credit it has never left me stranded though.
I'd buy another but preferably a Eunos Roadster with some boost and a lot more tasty parts already fitted next time.
Does my is300 count
I already do
Aren't you the guy who hates FWD
Toyota gutted the few non-Corollas that made it here and the rest probably rusted by the time the SW20 came out
its not . It has very high capability for directional change . some idiots brake or slow down mid corner (thinking too fast like an ordinary car) and that doesn't go well. just counter steer a little and press on accelerator.
RWD Toy Yoda mustard race
I think the 2nd gen Supra is slow, its a comfy cruiser, but apparently the biggest 4 banger still has no power
>tfw no '77 celica liftback
pic not related
>only 200hp
I'll take "mad because i'm slower than an ecotec" for 200 alex
But I do.
The weight is vering inboard on these cars, toward the very middle of the car. This means they do not slowly slide after losing grip. Just like a sniping figure skater as they pull their arms in, they just spin faster, So, less predictable/more sudden.
It's called "moment of inertia".
beacuse these faggots just watch youtube reviews instead of actually drive one
kek
>even moar fat
A70 is heavier than the A80.
Is the pic related in your post rwd or fwd
I wish jzx100's were legal in the US...
Because Supras are practically collectors items by now, the US didn't get proper Soarers, the IS-F is only an auto and inferior to the M3, and most everything else is hard to find and/or rusting out.
Celica became fwd 85+
i dont own one cause theyre ugly as fuck
>I do
>and I love it
>Views from the Meme6
If you're gonna have an ugly offset numberplate then you might as well not have a chunky frame on it
Yes
Smart man
Hey man
Can confirm. I owned a turbo MR2 with 230 WHP for a while only six months after I got my license. I'm not stupid so I didn't do anything too silly in it, but it was definitely a handful.
Well one day when you learn to drive you too can appreciate the superior RWD drivetrain.
All Toyotas are reliable. All are more fun than Hondas. Julio pls go.
Good man
Spoken like an uncouth driver of an inferior vehicle.
You are more intelligent than most. If that's your JZX100 come for a drive with us Sydney bros.
Drivers who have no idea how to drive MR.
Enjoy your Apex seals
Miata is almost good enough to be a Toyota. I guess you get a point for trying
kuroneko how cute
I assume you consider the subtle class of them offensive to your tastes and would prefer gaudy plastics.
Excellent
cant afford the mk4 supra yet. could sell my 240 and get an mr2 but i like my 240.
Because I own a RWD Volvo, fuck that noise.
Next year still broke, soon...
FLORIDA LOOPHOLES, M8
rwd hilux owner, checks all the boxes
>Nissan is better
I need a good laugh. Thanks mang
They do cost >$5000
jzx100 is the dream, sadly not available at my country, if i'm ever rich, i'll import one
>car engineered by Subaru
>car that uses a Subaru engine
>VIN number starts with JF1
>Toyota
Somebody's been watching too much initial d
I dont think you have the correct information
>ae86 isnt more enjoyable than a camry
is this bait or are you retarded, i own an ae86 and its actually the most fun ive ever had in a car
This tbqh.
Never had more fun than in an ae86.
People who dislike them have never driven one
It's a RWD ford escort, enjoy the memes though.
you know you want it....
...
b8
Nah, truth
You bought the wrong ZN6 m8
The Accord...
The Accord is more enjoyable than a Camry.
But an AE86 is more enjpyable than both
I daily a jzx, 10/10 comfy, fast and gorgeous.
No shit, Sherlock!
Oh user, but I do
