The I buy 2-3 year old cars with 28k-36k miles on them world.

So if 112k is "low miles" what the fuck would you consider 36k?

OP here, the price range is what makes it affordable, and the fact it has a mazda engine that won't blow. I'll be dd this thing only 15-20 miles x5 days a week, and I can do the work to replace the timing belt and water pump, the guy is selling them with the car.
