It's not, because Vulkan isn't actually necessary. N64 emulation does not require new hardware (unless you are obsessed with accuracy you can't even notice). Using Vulkan for 5th gen systems is akin to taking shortcuts. Devs who aren't willing to take shortcuts are able to get the system requirements much lower.

Why is everything super jittery in the n64 core and the ps1 bios with crt-easymode halation on? Also, another strange thing, it seems like there's 2 black bars at the top and bottom of my screen in the SNES and N64 cores making the screen slightly smaller.

paraLLEl is gonna support opengl in the future. it's not doing anything that requires vulkan. just compute shaders

It might be better to go with Vulkan given ogl is dead and 2/3 major GPU manufacturers don't even support it beyond v3

Mostly because one barely has any work put into it, and the other might be fast but it's still not as stable or compatible.

Input lag is a lie made up by aging man children too afraid to admit that their decaying reflexes are the problem. PC FPS games are the most twitch based games ever created and nobody has ever cried about input lag on them.

DSII has, or atleast had input lag on PC while playing with KB+M

Problem is monitors have like 1ms of input lag while emulators have 6-16ms.
I still call bullshit on people noticing it, but it's something to consider.

Input lag is a meme. If you don't want the so called input lag: buy the real console. Emulators will always have a bit of input lag. It's by design.
