You will absolutely look awkward in a C126 as a fragile student boi. Will probably look like you're driving in your daddy's car. Also, as student you probably won't be able to keep it running/doing enough maintenance. Tons of people like you failed in the same way.

When you got a bit older and actually look like a grown up dude, it's no problem to drive one of these and not get awkward looks, if you consider some things:

I was told that the 126 is as solid as an S-Class ever came. You're right about white indicators, they do look horrible most of the time. I feel confident enough about my settis to make my next car a C123 though. Should be no problem on my wage as a dual student.

If the car was thoroughly maintained, it might even need almost no (expensive) maintenance for years but that doesn't mean you don't have to give it some love here and there.
