>GROUP ATTACK Group units with ctrl + g Select your group and right click the enemy All your units move and automatically direct themselves to engage enemies they get close to while maintaining formation
Overall, they're the weakest faction. Sure, they have some good parts (Black Orcs, Grimgor himself, and Doomdivers) but they have, generally, the weakest units. They're supposed to have "large numbers" but they're not significantly larger than any of the other races. Their units are generally much worse than every other faction. Even Big'un infantry lose to basic Dwarf infantry 1 on 1, and Big'uns are tier 2.
It's also important to note that I am not saying it's impossible to win with them or anything, because you can spawn a Waagh on like turn 5 and go around murdering people, but every playable faction can destroy their neighbors.
Their starting position is THE worst in the game. THE WORST. You spend the entire campaign fighting mostly other Orcs, then fighting some Dwarves. The Dwarves start is also bad, but at least they're closer to the VC.
They have the most boring roster as well. Due to most of their units sucking, they really only have Infantry, Monsters, and Artillery (and if you want to throw in a boar boy or two you can, I suppose).
They also have, arguably, the worst (and if not THE worst, one of the worst) LL in the game. Azhag, for some reason, has worse units than Grimgor, worse traits than Grimgor, and is just straight up worse than Grimgor in combat.
They really need some new units to spice up their roster and to add some much needed strength. I'd also advocate for some sort of new mechanic. I have a few ideas, and I'll lay them out in another post.

In my Greenskins campaign I had something like 700k. Greenskins get WAY more money than other factions, and as a result can raise more armies, and that isn't even including all the WAGH!s.

The problem is in fun. Orcs just aren't fun, and I say that as an autist who actually owns a 40k Ork army.
Their roster is just so barren, and if you want to make an army that is effective, your choices are very, very limited.
I've won as Orcs, but it was way less fun than Empire, VC, or Dwarves (the other 3 factions I've won with so far).
The Empire is the best example of fun, effective armies. You can go with generic Infantry + Cavalry, or you can go for an Infantry + Artillery + Ranged units, or you can use lots of Outriders and kite the enemy around. You can throw in steam tanks, and wizards, and build armies that are really good, but also different. In my late game empire game I had 4 armies that were very different, but all were using late game units.
