I've been having a blast playing Assetto Corsa and Dirt Rally with an xbox controller. I wish I could play with a proper wheel and stuff, but I dont really have the room for a whole setup and I'll be back to school in a month and I don't want to move all that gear with me. I also don't really feel convinced by any of the cheaper wheels but I also don't want to drop $400 on a G29 or G27 or something without ever having actually tried serious sim racing.
What do I do? Do I just suffer through it for another year until I buy my own place where I can set up a nice autism cave? Is there any worthwhile intermediate between a controller and a huge wheel+pedals+shifter setup?

Nah, there isn't any championship that allows GT1 cars to race anymore . But they do get run sometimes in some one-off events for a few laps

Yeah they do, we've done them before in ovgtp, ovgsc and ovgec, they work if everyone doesn't drive like a retard and leaves gaps.
