Why are people playing BF4 when the BF1 beta is still going?

Two well-coordinated assaults could probably take down a tank on their own (if coordination ever happened) but for one guy nah, it's impossible unless the tank driver is completely blind, deaf, and braindead.

He probably plays against tanks playing in first person.

He probably exclusively plays tanks and has no idea how hard it is to kill them as infantry in this installment.

Classes are pointless, tanks are too op. The rocket launcher is only good for killing people. You can only use it exposed out in the open, it's a joke. It does no damage to tanks and you have to be out in the open to even use it. Sadly bf4 is way better than this game and going to the past was a big mistake. We went from jets to playing with sticks

My main concern is that there's so little situational awareness
Spotting last 1.5 seconds, the minimap doesn't show audio, And the map has so few choke points.
Everyone seems to be getting shot from behind

This, a billion times. Said it in one of the earlier threads. No positional spotting from unsuppressed weapons is a huge mistake and takes away a pretty giant skill that people familiar with the franchise have developed over the years. It's not like they slowed the rest of the game down by that much when it comes to player movement, so the only thing you can do is run around like an idiot looking for a fight, hoping to get the drop on someone.

It has more to do with evaluating when to push and when to hide. Anyone can tell what direction the gunshots are coming from but seeing 1, 2, or 3 enemy doritos on the minimap making those gunshots will change how you approach the situation.

In BF1, you have no information to evaluate on the minimap, pretty much ever. Fucking. Boring.

Why is the attack plane so good?

Because no one uses fighters.

The fighter's guns aren't nearly as good as the attack plane's, though. You're bound to kill pilots with splash, while with fighters, you kind of have to hope they won't bail out early, unless you're close enough to roadkill them as they eject.

Question: How do you get to be on the armoured train?
It seems like it's always the enemy team that gets it.
I don't think I've ever once been on the team that has it.

after a certain point in the game the losing team gets it, enter it from the spawn screen. it just gets filled up super fast. Get the AA gun if you can, I think it's seat 4. You can obviously shrek planes, but it also has splash damage and no drop so you can get infantry very easily also. It does reasonable damage to light vehicles too. Shit gainst heavy armour but normal the entire train will be shooting at them anyway so they don't last.

You have to be really bad at the game
