I'm afraid of getting pulled over. First group ride ever, and 3 of us got pulled over on a nice road for doing Rossi shit. Now I'm afraid that cops are around every corner.

So would you say a 600 would be better?
I want that I4 whine, a rev-happy motor, that aggressive body position. I just want something different than my SV. Shit, my SV was my first bike, what would be a good next step?
Ayden Campbell
Reposting to get Anons' opinions.
I want ALL the bikes. I just can't make up my mind about which one I want the most. >ZRX1200 around 110HP with outdated chassis and suspension, carbed. Standard bike ergonimics. Super cool looking. >XB12S Ligntning at around 80HP, but plenty of torque from as low as 2k RPM. Top of the line brakes, suspension, frame, and geometry for excellent handling. Fuel injected. >Any of the japanese I4 600cc supersports for great power, brakes, suspension, handling, etc. No character. Race ergonomics not ideal for street use. Quite revvy. They all seem comparable in cost. The XB seems the coolest to me but that 80HP figure form a 1203cc engine sounds disappointing. Although I imagine it will still be exciting coming from my 45hp shitbikes.

Is it really, though? What about the 750?
What makes the 636 a best?

there be trails in them hills?

isn't the extra 36cc cheating? honestly though, it's amazing what little cc can do for power.
Jaxson Ward
i want a gray one and im gonna take all the stickers off
why are you so helpless? look up a dyno if all you care about is torque.
James Carter
Try a gixxer 750 or go full liter but in low power mode.
I went from R6 to the 959 (750cc similiar power curve) memegale.
Brandon Allen
It's not all about torque, I care about the experience. Would like to gather opinions, which is why I'm asking what the next step would be if I want to get into a sport bike.
I lurked here before I even could ride and saw that the 650 is a great starter bike, now I'm asking for advice on what a good next step would be.
Might have to do that, but 750s are hard to come by in this area. Will look into it.
Grayson Lee
adventure or sport touring?
Aiden Reed
Any news about any electric motorcycle getting near the 200mi off of one charge range?
Also why the fuck doesn't Zero make a bike with fairings? Wouldn't the better aerodynamics reduce wind resistance on the highway and increase their range numbers?
Matthew Fisher
Theres plenty of other options for cool bikes that aren't sportbikes.

Well, thats why the Tuono was also on my radar. Everyone seems to really love the new 1100, but shit man, I'm not trying to drop $17k on a new bike.
Daniel Watson
Doing any off roading? What is your budget?
Andrew Howard
Well, while you say no character the 600 "super sport" gives you the most distilled riding experience. The other bikes are just standards that while giving you comfort fail to provide a true sporting presence. I'd always opt for the standard as your second big boy street bike.
Gabriel Rivera
>Want supersport since I was young teen >finally get one >wish I could go off road too Two bikes or supermoto

Literally thousands, them hills go all the way to NSW, can get lost out there pretty easily

i was thinking this as well. insurance would be much cheaper and then i'd get to do them sick trails.

Not going to find a new Adventure for that and be hard to find a used. Thoughts on a used KLR650 or DR650?
Christian Cook
5k will get you a decent variety of used bikes and pretty much nothing new. what amount of what types of riding you figure on doing?
Samuel Gonzalez
two bikes. Supermotos, while they can go off-road, aren't good at it. In fact you could ride your supersport through light trails too
Easton Russell
thinking bigger, maybe like an 800 used not new
not super off-road stuff but established trails and whatnot.
Ryder Collins
already got the shitbike, the problem is there are no servos out there and my bike only gets about 100km before hitting reserve fuel. best off taking the bikes out in the car with a few jerry cans of spare fuel and camping. there is a hell of a lot of good riding out there, some of the hill climbs go for over 5 kilometers

>they better have put missingno in there or they have failed at easter eggs

Well the Buell is esentially a sport bike chassis with a big air cooled V-twin engine. It's offered with a bikini fairing and clipons or no fairing and big, wide handlebars.
Reviews say it handles like (or better than) any traditional supersport, which is exactly what I'm looking for. I think the naked package would be exactly the bike I'm looking for if it weren't so on power compared to all the competition. It's probably the better option for me since I don't really need to go 120+ MPH. I'm afraid of speeding tickets anyway.
Too bad the turbo XB prototype never made it into production.
Jeremiah Barnes

be better if reserve got you more than 30km, you could always do what i do on long rides and carry two 2 litre coke bottles filled with fuel in your camel back, there is another 40 or so km of riding for me

Just laugh it off and let it go. Try to avoid them instead of chasing them down to give them a lecture. Escalating the situation won't help anything. File a police report if they attempt to run you over.
For some reason Veeky Forums thinks this is spam

anyone watch the vegas biker? it sucks because some cool stuff happens in vegas and he ruins it with cancerous 9fag tier memes youtu.be/smiWd6Ve0Ow?t=130

just have to make sure if something does happen that the cops don't see all my footage if you know what i mean
Chase Watson
stop being such a slow fagget that nanna has to overtake you on double yellow lines then. that or pull over and let her pass.
its like common courtesy doesnt even exist on the road anymore, seriously i swear half of the accidents people on youtube get into happen because the person on the bike was too high and mighty about the situation to slow down.
its almost like they get go pros then try to make people road rage because that pulls in views... wait...
end rant.
Ethan Brown

why do people get so triggered from motorcycles? nanna was mad because we passed her slow ass.
then she got her shitbox up to speed somehow and passed us as we were approaching a stop sign. cunt was feet away from me. it was surreal
Jeremiah White

Living in the sticks is best because 5-oh doesn't bother to come out my way. Why do Rossi shit in the city? Find some country roads to rip on. > not knowing cops use radios to communicate with one another to cooridinate a blockade
Chase Baker
Last time I passed someone on a country road he moved into the oncoming lane and almost forced me into a fence. I made it through with no more than an inch to spare.
I was in a passing zone with good visibility and no oncoming traffic, and never even went above the speed limit.
I don't know if he was mad or if he just didn't even know I was there and had no lane discipline.
Vid unrelated. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera at the time.
Jonathan Perez
id have followed him home, shit in his mailbox then slashed 3 of his tyres because insurance won't cover 3 new tyres
Bentley Clark
>implying there aren't fun roads to rip on next to the city
James Peterson
i think cagers get butthurt because motorcycles can do things they cant. we can filter while they are stuck at a standstill for one. that really gets people angry. i need to carry around some sparkplug ceramic chucks
Mason Watson
Can someone post the motorcycle version of this meme, the one with the octopus suomy helmet?
James Thompson
i wish i was a good enough rider to pull this off. dodge an asshole and get his mirror in one clean punch youtu.be/47RpnwjMTx0?t=50
As I said here I think it's best to just let it go. I don't know how insane people are or if they're going to shoot me or what, so I just leave it.
Although I should have gotten his plate and reported him for nearly killing me.
Slowfags always mad. Occasionally I come across some kind people who move over to let me pass. I get the feeling they ride and know motorcycles can move much more quickly through small country roads.
Sebastian Cooper
To each his/her own.
Oliver Torres
The thing they don't realise is their car can go faster than most bikes unless street rossi is riding it
Jason Lee
Some riders get hella salty. Just let it go
Colton Hernandez
>Occasionally I come across some kind people who move over to let me pass. I get the feeling they ride and know motorcycles can move much more quickly through small country roads.
I fucking love these people. I ALWAYS give them a thumbs up and a wave to let them know I appreciate it.
why is that faggot getting out of his sunroof holy kek here's the time it happens at: youtu.be/EVFfGqm5gjk?t=168
Josiah Jones
thanks you seppo cunt
Joshua Ramirez
Most of the roads I ride on are barely wider than 2 cars so the size of motorcycles alone allows them more buffer zone, so they can go faster more safely just because of that.
And I strongly disbelieve that most cars can go faster than most motorcycles. 99% of the cars on the road are shitboxes that can't accelerate or corner worth shit. Even when I feel like I'm pushing the limits of my car through a corner, I can cruise through the same corner on my dual sport (not even a street bike) even faster with some safety margin. Add that to the fact that bikes can accelerate faster after slowing for a corner and it gives bikes a significant advantage to bikes.
Caleb Rogers
>it gives bikes a significant advantage to bikes. kek
Brody Green
it gives bikes an advantage over cars.
Simple typo.
Isaac Howard
yeah but most people arent hektik through corners and only maybe 10% actually are, for most people doing the speed limit through a corner that has a recommended speed of 80km/h is hektik on a bike, doing that in a car is piece of cake for 90% of people though, opposite scales kinda thing.
William Murphy
For a simple person.
Charles Ross
i know it was i typo m8, i thought it was funny
Kevin Robinson
So you're saying bikes have a higher potential but it's harder to exploit that potential?
