fuckin nips

Uhh, woah. This is actually relevant to my shit.

My 900$ shitbox i fixed up. Not quite done

Not excited about doig the rear wheel bearing. Its getting loud.

Hello comrade twin

Oh. Uhh, hey. Hey there. I like your non dented hood.

Just ordered a rear knuckle, and 2 36$ hub and bearig kits.

Figure i press the one together into the new knuckle, just swap knuckles on the car, then get creative to get the old bearing out of the old knuckle, press the second bearing into the old hub, that way when the first 36$ hub and bearing go Ill have no 2 lined up. No special tools needed and out the door for 205$. After reading forum posts on rear wheel bearings I feel like a genious at this point

>tfw used to own rwd volvos where a bearing was an hour and 18 dollars.

I like your stripe thing in the back that's pretty rad

Also like the grill work, equally rad

You ever dealt with misfires and evap codes on these?
Cyl 3, so far I've done
New cat
New cat sensor things
Cat gaskets
Spark plugs
Cleaned throttlebody
New coil pack
Formagasketed the cat, fixed leak
Seafoamed throttle body, this helped idle the most but it's still rough
I know I should've hired shop to do cat but I can't figure out what I did wrong after all that I still have intermittent cyl 3 misfire, rough idle and accel, and that fycking evap code.

Preciate it, just trying to mitigate fuckig rust caused by the factory provided sponges placed in the fenderwells from the factory.

Grillwork is pretty hack, but hey, it got the job done.

Unfortunately very little obd II knowledge, always been a rwd volvo guy...

Is your timing belt ultra mega stretched? Evap code doesnt seem related to misfire to me...

Intake side of things is all tight i assume after you cleaned throttle body?

...

I can only assume evap code is a virus infecting my car because I let a liberal arts college student ride shotty at some point, passing emissions is never an issue anyways. Looking for stock/correct pics of the n/a intake and filter set up to compare but it all looks the same to me, that aint it

Also just tried swapping ignition wires and the misfire didn't move with it, so they're good unless that's not how it works but I think it is?

Oily substance on a couple spark plugs, which means I should change the valve cover seals apparently it's a dead to rights troubleshoot, and im supposed to 'check valve clearances" while I'm in there.

Anyways these rooftent things are friggin toight

hello silverfriends

I will buy another one a couple years down the line, Just not another auto.

THE FIRE RISES COMRADE

b platform > g/s platforms

did you buy a '98 user?

>Just not another auto
please not another auto

Speaking of, damn the manual gearboxes in these feel p shitty

The only manual cars I've driven were Miatas and Mr2's with really nice shifting or trucks/jeeps with expectedly trucky transmissions

Been test driving Foresters, an '03 a few days ago and today an '01

It just feels like pushing a pool noodle through a bowl of jello

i guess this is what driving an econobox feels like?

Isnt evap code most likely shitty gas cap or filler neck usually? Again not my forte

Its oily and misfiring? Thats not good... its probably a pita to compression test one of these i bet...
