I don't quite think we've surpassed /k/'s Nuggetfest, but we're close. You also have to think Nuggetfest is a culmination of multiple midwestern states as well, and some people drive all the way from Florida or California to go there.

We're just one small albeit populated region. It's not like we have guys from Florida driving to meet us, we're all within a 50-100 mile radius.

So should I request off of work for the 15th? Is that meet still happening?

We're deciding the main meet up details on the 8th at the mini meet.

I might have another guy tag along someday to a meet. He doesn't really use Veeky Forums but he's super nice and has a sonic so I won't be lonely.

You'd be surprised; the frame, suspension, steering, and underpinning are essentially Lotus Esprit components. A few modifications to counteract the rear bias and the car becomes a competent machine.

Very similar; though it was based off of the S1 and is most similar to an S2 in terms of sheer geometry.

Because it's nearly impossible to find one in the US. I have the carb intake from a Peugeot 504 as well as the distributor, a proper set of headers with free-flow cats, and a few more minor tweaks. I'm going to install cams at some point, but this engine has a little over 8k miles on it and now uses ZERO electronic components. I'm not going to try to use a 125k mile Eagle 3.0 with a dodgy EFI instead.
