This is my PvP Pyro build. It's pretty good, if I say so myself.

It's an old screenshot. I leveled up to SL80, putting one more point into Vit and 1 into Dex. That allowed me to use a Dark Longsword and wear a full armourset that's under 30% equip load.

Should I not parry the third swing? Is that not how I play? Because most the hosts tend to do that prior to me getting the opportunity to do anything more advanced than parrying it, assuming they don't just try opening with a rolling attack or something.

I mean there are, yeah, but with the ease with which hosts can roll and chug while at low health, just finding a way to immediately kill them while their HP is high becomes a helluva lot more appealing than scratch, chug, scratch, chug until they run out of their 15 flasks. Even a host who hasn't passed the watchers yet can have 7 chugs on him. You really shouldn't be able to move while chugging.
