The way Mobile is handling status stuff is already different than how Indiv handles them. The two developers aren't necessarily sharing code or anything.
And the visual FX are WAY different.

If anything, I'd say 2E's challenge mode was the test case for both, since it showed status effects in SG and used general palette effects with the Z-Engine which you see used in Indiv.

Look, I just put SG Mobile under the ARPG genre where Indivisible is because I feel that it's barely like the real fighting game console/PC version and all the stats, numbers and effects in it reminds me of classic RPG things

The Indivisible public prototype does not have any bleeding effects or defense up buffs yet. It probably does in the build Mike has but he's not allowed to release it or stream it yet because of some reasons like spoilers and no animations. So where can Mike put Indivisible mechanics that he might be itching to see a bunch of feedback on real quickly? SG Mobile beta where there's a bunch of old animations a new animations he can use for all the RPG-like effect things he has in mind with a bunch of people from Japan and America to give him feedback on.

All of this is dumb though because apparently he barely has anything to do with SG Mobile which doesn't make sense to me but whatever
