I HATE both lance weapons. To the point that seeing one in a room sours my opinion of any upcoming hunts, no matter how good they go.

/mhg/, what is the most bonkers charm you've gotten legitimately through hunts/charm runs?

First time against Pink Rath. One cart because I got cocky while she was drooling, but the tail slaps aren't that much of a threat if you are good at guarding.

Shit was so goddamn cash, didn't really even need to switch charms the entire game unless I felt like gunning.

i have a 100% legit evasion +6 OOO in mh4u that i got in mid HR
i got to evade lance WAY sooner than i expected

1) Finish my HBG set for La Foi
2) Unlock the Toka armor so I can work toward a DB/SnS set (gotta wait for Lodestar for the final piece)
3) Make the Alatreon Star

I did over 500 coal runs in Gen looking for a FastCharge +5 OOO charm. I got:

Normal Up, Pierce Up, Tenderizer, KO, Destroyer, Fencing, and Blunt charms, all at +5, all triple slots. I got an Evasion +6, and an Evade Dist +6 charm, both OOO.

The most bonkers has to be the Crit Element +5 Dragon Attack +13 OOO charm.

Makes me laugh when I look back at my +5 Handicraft --- charm from 3U

I eventually got it. I've got 10000 Yukumo points, and I'm not sure if that's the cap, but it's almost ten times the amount I have for the other villages.

HH is just a hammer on which you can play songs on. So normal hammer skills but instead of Mind's eye which you get for free you could use Horn Maestro. Although opinions split on that too now with double notes.

Special button. In any mode where Demon Dance is available (except Aerial in which case you can only do it after going demon mode after a vault), you can use whatever your kick button is to go straight to spin move. Useful for accumulating demon gauge.

Is there a good solo Weapon/Set for High stuff? I've been having an a alright time with the Switch Axe but some of these hunts are starting to take forever.

I think it's coming down to too little damage. I don't take many hits but I can down things for days and it never dies.

I mean the obvious answer is Haya-Sol. And make sure you hit the weak spots.

Also gunning in MP is fun. Sort of annoying to do it alone.

I have like 2 different sets/weapons for every gunner weapon including bow, so I can always switch just in case someone I see someone even close to same set, it's pretty great.

I just have the two sets right now. Gourmew for the LR funzies and a clownsuit for Rapid Fire, Load Up, and Status+1. I'm currently working on getting more/better sets so I can use something other than the swagcannon and kettleblower.

I sincerely believe that the lost musket is the best addition to monster hunter. I always hated bladeshitters and now I get a gun that 1. is too high maintenance to use for weekend gunners 2. needs a stupidly specific set of skills to use properly and 3. blows them and the monster up from downtown. it's a blessing.

The most fun I had so far with MHgen was with a taunt hammer adept set and 3 gunners.
