As far as 125s go, that does look pretty nice. Though the amount of money put into it to look like that could have just bought a better bike.

Sup Veeky Forums. I think I decided to keep onto my fzs600 for much longer time, since its perfect for me.
Question - is it worth to upgrade suspension on it? I'll be keeping it until it dies, which might take some time.
Question #2 - if I decide to upgrade its suspension, are there any other rear shock options than Ohlins? For example, would R6 rear shock fit it?

Fitted some new pegs yesterday, bike feels so much better. Bit my bit I'm actually making this bike somewhat decent.

...

>got new tires fitten on wheels
>tfw can't mount until my new chain and sprockets arrive

>ordered new front tire
>ordered oil flter
>all due next week
>bought the wrong motor oil

Fuck

I'd lick her pantsu

Hey dude im not sure what bike you have or what kind of oil it is exactly, but if i were you i would definetly go and get my money back. And dont put the new oil in your engine because it being a racing oil might make your clutch slip

Yeah yeah sure, I wanted to have lunch first.

Based europe has customer protection so I'm not remotely bothered by it, I just don't like the people that work there.

Pic related is the oil I use and the other is what they gave me

Anybody here ever ridden a VFR800? Kinda tempted by one but I've never ridden one and just don't know what to think of it. I'm kind of after a comfy sports bike that can take a passenger, and it seems to be the only tourer that still has a good amount of sport bike about it.

lame even for a honda

You guys think this will hold a firm grip even in the rain?

I can't remember if it was the 800 or 1200 but one of them needs an ecu tune because it was massively neutered around 5k because of emissions laws

Yeah, I have less contact and my shits held to 150mph and jumps and shit.

>mfw captcha took 6 tries

go pro mount?
Shit lasted over two years trough hell and fire, it's still on actually.

That 3M shit is seriously sticky.

why aren't you fags out riding?

for me it's because bike is at shop

Eating with pops
>thought i fucked battery up
>cig lighter was shorting
Removed a fuse and now it's slightly better

What about in the rain? It rains a lot here in Oregon so it's a concern of mine that the rain will turn the 3M adhesive into mush.

the first gen sv650 is one of the best looking motorbikes ever.

I'd buy one but I dd'd a trx850 for like two years so I'm bored of 80hp twins.

Still looks the sex thpugh.

Oh and do you really need to let the adhesive mount sit once applied for 12 hours before riding?

It won't, rained plenty over the span of two years,
even lasted trough the last sem when it pretty much rained every other day.

>the second gen sv650 is one of the best looking motorbikes ever.
Ftfy

I don't remember doing it but just in case wait for a bit before trying.

Live in Washington, its fine. those mounts are fucking tough man. safety wire it if you're really worried.

YES. 24 ideally.

that 3M shit is the strongest adhesive currently available to the public.

noice

My bike doesn't have wheels, m8.

>tfw prepping for SEM

>My bike doesn't have wheels
oh fugg imperials on my SEM

>second gen sv650

Anyone going to SEM from Switzerland/South Germany/whatever's on the way? I'm still planning on bringing the Saab due to L plates on muh baiku.

...

...

Because I was fitting the new crash bars, blinkers and control unit.
Now waiting for my camera to charge.

There are a few that are going through southern Germany/Switzerland.

Hi all. My 15 year old niece is looking into getting a first motorcycle. What was your first DOHC water cooled i4? How was it? Would you again?

...

>i4
>water cooled
>DOHC

I don't want those things on my bike

hi guys my father-in-law is getting his third motor rickshaw. What was your first bike with a 3 gallon gas tank?

sugru

Like the rideit post suggested faggot

Unfunny forced meme is unfunny.

Mad that not everyone learns on a 125?

I learned on a 600

...

My first (current) bike is a 600 i4 and I only nearly died a couple times and none of those have to do with the displacement and I'm yuro. 50cc scootscoot as a teen doesn't count.
t. FKG

I'm keen to get a trackbike. I want to push my riding to the next level but realistically won't have that much time/money to throw at it. I'm thinking a 250 will be fine. I'm just undecided what to get:

>mc22
God handling and dat redline, but they're pReTtY fUcKeN oLd
>ninja 250
cheaper, more common, can get a very new one for the same price, but shitter suspension and not as revvy

Or I get a 600, but I don't see much point in that

My first is gonna be a 675

RIP me

>I'm keen to get a trackbike. I want to push my riding to the next level but realistically won't have that much time/money to throw at it.
Get a cookie cutter 600 supersport. Cheap, light, fast, they make perfect track bikes. You'll never outgrow it.

How do you care for your baikus?
I've been hand-mixing concrete all day to give the bikes a nice surface to spend the nights in
Oh and also I'm looking for a flat in the city and found one that will let me keep a bike in my room

>You'll never outgrow it.
This a thousand times. The bike won't be a limiting factor until you're approaching Rossi levels of riding skills. Just get non-shit tires and adjust the suspension.

reminder that honda a shit

Or rather, your wallet

VHB a best.

RIP FKG

At least I hope you're getting the street triple and not a daytona

Hey guys, I'll be riding in the rain for the first time today, in a place I don't know the roads, am I fucked?

Do you have good tires?

No, just look in your mirrors so you don't get fucked in the arse by cars

Honestly he'll probably never even outgrow a well set up 250, it's just that people get tired of getting ditched on tracks that have straightaways during track days so there's really no drawback to being able to keep up.

No. Just take it easy.

Literally the worst things about riding in the rain: your foot slides out a bit if you put it down too early, and wiping your damn visor

>why aren't you fags out riding?

>Caught Hospital lurgi after having Gastroscopy (no oesophageal cancer though, yay!)
>Think its just a severe bout of Hayfever, go to work
>Take immunosupressants for 'hayfever'
>Holy shit, what's wrong with my limbs and organs?
That was a terrifying ride home.

Slow for corners
Only brake in a straight line
Keep a good following distance
Be gentle on the front brake
Watch for paint stripes and oily patches when putting your feet down

Taking at look at it tomorrow
seattle.craigslist.org/est/mcd/5673235606.html

Luckily I can do mechanical/body work

Except transmissions and tires. Fuck transmissions and tires

They're bretty good, only 1k miles on em
I have a half helmet w/ goggles, does that make me more boned?

Questioner here
I'm there for technique, not so much for the actual laptimes.
Isn't it pointless getting a 600 if you're going to be amongst other 600s anyway?

The way I see it, a 250 will require me to be much more careful with braking and lines because losing momentum costs so much. Also things like initial purchase, fuel, tires, chains, and servicing is way cheaper on a small bike.

Although I'm open to ideas, what do you think?

no its not. not at all.

second gen is pretty though

Still nursing a bum ankle after fucking it up skateboarding a few weeks ago. Can't put my boot on without lots of pain and getting it off is even worse.
>tfw my ZRX sits under a cover waiting for me

Bellevue you say?

Ace bars came for the Triumph!
