How much do you usually pay for maintenance in a year?

about tree fiddy

Ive never kept a car more than a year.

What the hell is in your pic?

exhaust manifold

I get all OEM parts at dealership employee price (50-70% off) and do all the labor myself and use my shop's equipment as well. I spend about 200 in parts a year.

nice horse cock

...

£400 or so a year for 2 years of owning a reliable car.
I'm hoping that'll drop soon. Tires and brakes last longer than a couple of years, and last year's Big Expense was the 50k major service, this year was front brake pads and discs.

When it requires seriously major work, I'm selling it.

when i worked at ford my discount was nowhere near that high. son, i am jealous

Repairs and consumable parts
2014 - £345 / $445
2015 - £580 / $750
2016 - £230 / $299 (so far)

wtf that looks like a horse dick in the thumb

I was thinking the same thing. /b/ has fucked me up.

$2000 at least

i own 7 vehicles and only 1 is from the 00s

2k for 7 cars isn't that bad actually

I don't apart from parts.

nice

Parts cost money, too.

Depends if anything has broken or not.

you're right, it's really not, but it's cumulative also

last year i only needed oil and filters

this year i needed two starters, a set of special snowflake glow plugs, 2 brake overhauls, a rear window, 6 tires and a fucking new roof (which insurance covered, at least)

Jelly.

$11
