God, I loved Griffith. He hit his Sonic stride in Unleashed like everything else.

The chaotix would probably be the strongest characters in the sonic universe if he could. A ninja thats as fast as sonic with ninja weaponry and jutsus, Vector, who can fire soundwaves and flames from his mouth and well Charmy's not anything special but he can prob sting the fuck out of someone if he tried.
Put a Freedom Planet tier plot/presentation.

I wouldn't even call him the best at all, but I thought he fits as DIC Sonic more than Classic Sonic due to DIC Sonic's loony tunes-like antics. Plus, can you even imagine how weird C. Sonic in Generations would sound having White's voice coming out of his mouth?
I think it'd fit right in with the sonic series honestly. You have Sonic's super speed, Tails' flight, Knuckles' power, Shadows' chaos powers, Silver's telekinesis, etc..
Espio could have that extra oompf to him about being a ninja besides just have a really big shuriken.
When reading Megadrive, and during flashbacks to Classic Sonic, I always end up reading it in Burke's voice.
To me, it just sounds right as the voice that would grow up to sound like Roger Craig Smith.

Also it has always been my head canon that Shadow enjoys old rock and metal music like AD/DC, Queen and Metallica.

The only way I can see bringing Sonic's friends back in 2017 as a good idea is if they're there to give you sidequests like in Generations and Colors DS. I would love to play as them again, but the sidequest thing is the safest option.

I'd rather not have side quests again. If they really have to show up, have it be like Generations where they show up to cheer him on before the final battle (But not during because that shit was annoying)
