FWD cucks come on

Hello brostang. Using google image because I can't be assed to go outside and get one myself.

Sorry for the potato.

shhhhhhitbox

do you like to listen to the turbo noise?

I approve of your color choices.

is that a fucking key as a washer?

thanks br/o/, I like your blue/red scheme

the key unlocks the hoon

Isn't that on Craigslist, did you crop this pic from Craigslist

2011 5.0. Edelbrock blower, comp cams, headers and some other stuff.

Till Valhalla my friends

...

R32?
How much did you pay for it, and how is the maintenance on it?

...

...

Yeah 32, had it over two years now and bought it for like 12K

Been relatively easy on me, just an alternator gone bad and a few leaking injectors

48 hp @ 5100 rpm
60 lb·ft @ 2500 rpm

>that massive engine bay
looks like heaven to work on.

That mess you make when looking for vacuum leaks

What car?

Crown Vic?

I thought your battery was some kind of lcd screen at first.

use propane

Probably for my A/c

...

it was meant to have a flat four engine but that got cancelled in favour of an existing inline design
that and torsion bar front suspension gives allot of room to work on the alternator and oil filter

being able to remove the rocker cover without disturbing the carburettor or distributor has its uses
such as checking for oil flow and rocker/point gap

most parts can be removed with the engine and gear box in place
if needed the transmission comes out the bottom and the engine can be lifted out the front and up by removing the grill

morris Minor 1000 ute with the 1098 cc engine
very low first gear and good in snow with 165/80 r14 tires as normal
top speed is around 130 kph but it will go faster when fitted with an escort diff
in both the ute and van versions the leaf springs are such that the handling is chaotic when there is less than 50 kg on the load deck

thumbnails give all sorts of impression
the battery is also tiny compared to the old led acid the car came with

Less power loss because the crank is on the same plane as the axles. I personally don't like it but you should quit being a faggot because it has benefits.

>Transverse

Can't generalize

Plastic fantastic

...

>longitudinal engine
not a shitbox

So you agree? FWD is inferior?

muh poeples

ayy lmao

Not inferior I just don't prefer it. I don't really like rwd that much either. Awd master race! Like I said there is less power loss. That is an advantage over awd and rwd except some mid engine applications. You shouldn't post on an auto fourm if you are too retarded to understand basic mechanical design concepts.

FWD sucks fuck off kid

>you will never itasha a classic corvette as well as do that to the engine and then park it at carlisle

muh midship

It sucks for certain applications. Give me a detailed explanation instead of a basic fanboy response. Prove you know what you are talking about.

does the intercooler get any air at all? is there a fan or something ?

>have itasha design for my car
>too much of a bitch to go through with it
>still not even 100% satisfied with the design
feels batman

It can't togue
it can't race
it can't compete
can't even drift

you mean any time there is over 300 hp?

Not everyone is trying to Tokyo drift their cars. Literally all of your reasons have nothing to do with what 90% of consumers do with their cars. Who said you can't race FWD people do it all the time. Nothing is superior all around there is always give and take.

There's not a fan on the intercooler but it gets airflow like in pic related. Air comes in from the side vent and goes out the top of the engine lid.

i have a powerful fwd car and it just spins the tires most of the time. all the way through 2nd gear.

how can you possibly feel that is ideal? i never try to drift in any car.
why is it better at all?

oh my god
that has to be some hot air getting in there.
im not sure i feel the engineering is sound

We'll just have to trust that the crazy Japanese engineers knew what they were doing. Also it's probably better than no intercooler in some capacity.

i'm not sure you're an engineer

so how are you going to criticize any engineering

a fan would be better imo
i bet it heatsoaks like a bitch

How did you take that photo?

Yea so that would be a vast majority of cars purchased around the world. FWD is the best for efficient commuting which is what most consumers want. That is why it is so widely used.

I bet he had his phone on timer and put it in his mouth.

it's the best for efficient packaging and cost-cutting

and FWD is better in the snow when you can direct which way the power goes while the rear stays static

R8

If you are trying to make a Fucking fast car don't start with FWD. Holy shit. Like I said at the beginning it has advantages putting a lot of power down is definitely not one of them. It puts power to the wheels more efficiently. So it is cheaper for companies to make commuter cars. That is its purpose and it is why it is so widely used.

Finally someone isn't too autistic to understand what I'm talking about.

>goes on Veeky Forums
>well for commuter cars...
NO
FUCK OFF
THIS ARGUMENT WAS NEVER ABOUT THAT AND YOU NEED TO STOP MOVING GOAL POSTS

not even a strut bar conversion
4/10 needs help
ebay.com/itm/NEW-MTC-Strut-Brace-Mount-Solid-Front-Driver-Side-Volvo-8666205-/122029929061?

this is b8
you can drift fwd
you can race fwd
you can go fast in fwd
you're an idiot
>there's a reason people in japan choose integras and civics over miatas
>miata is really an american phenomena

some of us aren't restricted to shitty straight roads where the only fun is acceleration

a lot of us live in/beside mountains where fast FWD cars are just as fun as anything RWD

Yeah I only got it a few months ago, not sure what to start with.

10/10 R-bro

...

I don't think I've seen another one while driving. Nice to know others exist.

>you can drift fwd

keep telling yourself that you fucking retard!

grow up kid

"I'm angry because my point is invalid". My opening point was it has less power loss. That means less weight because you can use a smaller engine to get the same amount of power to the wheels which means cheaper production cost. It also handles better in adverse weather conditions. All that put together means it makes a good commuter vehicle. Goal posts are in the same place you are just too stupid to see that.
