I was given an eg civic from my grandad who passed away.
Now because honda engines are known for being slow I was thinking I could put a 4age engine in there and destroy all the other civics with toyota power / suprise people with it having okay power for a little 1.6 liter.
I was thinking the turbo engine from a starlet gt might also work.
I don't want a honda engine because hondas are slow.
I've seen all the memes on the internet.
Do you think a 4age is a bad choice?

How is this bait?
If hondas are fast than why do so many people on facebook say they are slow?
Everybody knows civics are slow.

how much do you want to spend? what kind of roads do you live around?
if you live on some smooth and curvy mountain roads, you should just do a typical b16 build with a 6 speed with some cheapish coilovers, rear disc swap, nice vented rotors up front, and some sporty tires from a good company
if you live in an area with straight and long roads with minimal potholes you pretty much need a k20 swap with a turbo to make it fun because 300whp+ is the only thing that will keep it interesting
if you live in an area with long and straight roads with no potholes just keep it stock, otherwise you'd have too much power for the suspension to handle or your suspension would be too low and it would be awful to drive around

that last one was supposed to be 'with lots of potholes'
