>I guess I'll try it out some game. Is there someone that goes good with Order? Nations with high base science, lots of mines and wide. Not necessarily together though.
Tradition Korea/Babylon can do well with Order through the 25% science bonus.
It's not really bad for anyone, but I guess Inca would have a bit of a negative synergy since Incas have less mines. Not bad, just less of a bonus there.
Skipped NC, marathon and upper branch first. Still kinda slow though, but I was first to ideology. Only emperor and it was my first bnw game 3 years back.

What civilizations do you hope make it into Civ VI at some point?
Liam Cook
I always thought the timurids would be fun.
Grayson Turner
Sumerians under Girugamesh
Grayson Moore
Persia.
Expected them to be in at the start since they've been in each vanilla installment since 2.
John Perez
They would be covered by Persia (their base) or even Turks or Mongols (the ethnicity of their rulers).
Timur would make a really kickass Mongol leader though if multiple leaders per civ is a thing.
Samuel Reyes
>Culture/Tourism goes past 2000/3500 p/turn >lose just kill me
Nathan Perez
Any news on Endless Space 2 release date?
Joshua Peterson
I like Seven Kingdoms 2.
Also, I tried Settlers, it's a more more managing than general murder as I expected.
Kevin Anderson
The chinese bought them out and chopped it up for dlc
Ethan Evans
Putting them under persia or mongol is both dumb.
Gabriel Taylor
We could do worse than a Central Asian civ, but I fear of the inevitable nationalisms that would flare up if they did that.
Actually you're right, now I want the Timurids as a civ.
Ryan Long
Tamerlan the Great - Chagatai Khanate
Levi Young
The papal states - Rodrigo Borgia
Tyler Morris
Tourism victories that do not involve your army having a tour around other civs take too long. You might as well shoot for a science victory at that point.
I'd like Sweden back but ruled by Karl XII and with a military focus
Byzantium would also be nice. They kinda sucked in V but I still like them from a historical standpoint and I hope they'll get in again.
Christopher Jenkins
I'm okay with Byzantium being bad in civ5 since at least they had a very fun UA if you could use it.
Luis Davis
Okay, just stay with me here for a second.
What about having the Roman Republic as a civ.
James Gomez
>Not wanting to keep based Gustav II Adolf If only they dont mix him upp with another off his uncles again
Jeremiah Ward
...
Carter Ortiz
Given how VI will do two leaders, it's possible they might have one Republic leader and one era-specific Empire leader
Tyler Thompson
I'm fine with pretty much anyone, we've had a lot of based kings throughout history. Karl XII is just my personal preference.
Angel Edwards
They should add someone from before christanisation or someone like eric the heathen
Eli Nguyen
who said only two? well, they'll probably only put out one/two for most civs because they dont want one with like 5 leaders, but theres no limit on the amount. its all up to the imagination.
Jace Torres
>dont mix him upp with another off his uncles again Yeah that really rustled me.
Great choice for king, but then they just fucked it up and made him look like argueably the worst choiec for king.
Carson Smith
I would like a Gaulic Civ led by Vercingetorix
Julian Morales
>I would like a Gaulic Civ led by Vercingetorix It'll be just like Gergovia all over!
Logan Morris
unfortunately covered by france
just like danes or geats are covered by denmark or sweden, saxtons or angles are covered by either germany or england
i'm suprised celts even got their own civ, but I assume it's because if they decided to specifically include the scottish, welsh or irish, who were then split into even more different tribes, they'd get analcrusaded people who probably aren't even celtic in the slightest
Owen Morgan
Anglo-Saxons ARE the English, Danes are Denmark, and the Gauls can be covered by a generic Celtic civ.
OTOH they split the Vikings up into Norway/Sweden/Denmark, so we may see a Celtic split yet, including the Gauls. I have an increasingly weird feeling we're going to see Firaxis go Paradox and release a ton of Civs as DLC, a lot more than expected.
David Turner
>unfortunately covered by france That's not how this works. And you know it isn't how things work when you even know about the celts.
Parker Nguyen
Well that sucks since there literally Nothing other than geography that the Gauls and French have in common, and Vercingetorix
Jose Butler
Boudicia was a slut that ruined her people with betrayal
Justin Price
You're making Civilization #. You will have 18 civilizations during vanilla. What's your lineup?
Eli Carter
I meant to imply Vercingetorix was superior to Boudicca
Noah Butler
Greater than is the side which is bigger like 2 > 1
Nicholas Lee
oops, in my defence its way past midnight in my timezone
Jaxson Ross
It is here too
Aiden Cox
Weird. I had the thread on autoupdate and I didn't see that post at all.
Logan Rivera
well i guess im just more slopy in checking what i write before posting
Easton Campbell
Just play hue hue Brazilians for that sweet +100% tourism output while in golden ages.
Austin Watson
>reach 2016 while playing Sweden >lose production and money from welfare >lose happiness from high rape rate
Lucas James
The Dutch and the Portuguese, although they'll likely make it in anyway in the future. If they need a scenario idea, do what they did and make a random new world scenario like in Civ V.
The Goths since I think they're cool, and also add the Huns back. Hell, add in those various Germanic civs from the Fall of Rome scenario, like the Vandals, Franks, and so forth.
The Italians, but they never will make it in because Rome is in already.
Sumeria, Babylonia, AND Assyria all in the same base game. Maybe the Phoenicians but Carthage tends to take their spot.
The Sioux to go along with the Iroquois. Mali again. Maybe a generic Bantu civ to go with the Zulu.
Honestly, my overall rule is the more, the merrier.

Slowly tying together the realm with propaganda transmissions. A few more and my main realm will be connected with Dwumgar

I want a Celtiberian leader for the Celts in 6, with the ability to lease units as mercenaries to other civs/city states for money
Brayden Collins
>mfw got Cities : Skylines >"hell yeah, finally a game where I can take it easy" >all my people are dying >not a sickness >not an invasion >I just put the sewer exit BEFORE the pumping station Okay, fuck that, I'll keep playing Endless Space.
Brandon Scott
Do you have an example of a relatively well known Celtic Leader from Iberia?
Angel Bailey
Galicia will rise again
Chase Cooper
Is /cbg/ exiled here now?
Also yeah, putting the pump and dump stuff out like that will screw things up. Keep playing, cities skylines is a REALLY easy game, practically a city painter.
Michael Hughes
>not just purging xenos Are you a race traitor?
Matthew Long
I just want a game where I can relax and play slowly.
I'm bad at RTS because I always take my sweet doing anything at all.

Keep playing CS, just because the pump order was wrong doesn't mean to give up. Do it for me, user.
Chase Ortiz
Why the fuck does that disgusting orc have a purple Lazytown wig and glasses?
Evan Roberts
Viriatus even if the lusitanians being celts is highly debated mostly for the "rome doesn't pay traitors" thing or Olyndicus Even them, they are pretty obscured compared to Boudica or Vercingetoris
Jayden James
She's a feminist, you silly goose.
Nolan Robinson
I thought feminists were women holding signs asking for vote rights and equal access to public toilets, crap like that.
Isaac Kelly
>lusitanians Last time I played as Spain I named my religion Lusitanian Magic.
Charles Walker
thats the actual feminist, but theres a subgroup called tumblr feminists/womyns rights. they're not meant to be taken seriously. how new r u
Tyler Nelson
Also kind of shallow after the first ten hours or so.
Gabriel Hernandez

Isaiah Rivera
Just because the game doesn't punch you in the dick and shit on your face doesn't mean it's shallow.
Caleb Scott
Everything you try to do is accomplished easily and there's nothing like a goal.
Ryder Reyes
Unless you're trying to make efficient roadways.
Gabriel Baker
Is stellaris still an aimless mess of frustrating bugs and missing features?
Josiah Cruz
No. It's worse.
Luis Turner
The bugs are mostly fixed so now it's just a bland wasteland of poor design decisions. Come back next year and it'll be great.
Cameron Ward
well that's disheartening to hear Any good research-focused strategy game out there for me to slap my dick on in the meantime?
Brayden Lopez
Maybe Europa Universalis, but the research is mostly about getting bonuses rather than unlocking new stuff.
OR you can get Distant Worlds.
Luis Reyes
Have you played Dominions 4?
Lincoln Thomas
The only research there is magical.
Through I heard Dom 5 will add "normal" research.
Jayden Lewis
What's wrong with magical research?
>Dom 5 Any rumors for that far in the future are pure trolling. There'll be at least another three or four years before a new iteration is in the cards.
Ian Green
>American """civilization"""
Caleb Cooper
Well, usually, when you talk about research in strategy, you expect heavier units, better strategy, bigger armies. Dominions 4 kinda shit on all of that.
Leo Price
fug of
Nathaniel Brown
Civilization? You mean that slum they call a history?
Lincoln Martinez
Just had an idea to make ship design perhaps a bit more interesting and varied in Stellaris.
So there are four classes with icons shown as 1 diamond to 4 diamond. Battleships are 4 diamond, but Fallen Empire sdon't have Battleships, they have Battlecruisers as their 4 diamond ship.
My idea is that instead of Battleship Tech, maybe you had 4 different battleship techs and only one of them appears naturally in your tech tree. So you got Dreadnought as your 4-Diamond class ship, then you fight ayylmaos with Battlecruiser, research their debris and get lucky and get access to their types.
Battleships may have access to more Large slots, while Battlecruisers may have access to more slots in general. Dreadnought have more defensive slots. For example how they can differ.
In sci fi shows the different races tend to have very different ships and this could add to that.
Not through research. The heavy units are already unlocked.
Parker Peterson
It would also be worth exploring the possibility of different hulls having different modifiers attached. I always found it silly that the corvette interceptor hull doesn't have a speed and evasion modifier, and the striker hull doesn't have a damage modifier for instance.
Sebastian Myers
How are you gonna get ozlotls without research?
Jacob Hernandez
Battlecruiser should be a subset of battleship.
Caleb Gonzalez
>using Ozltols >when you can have skeletons >lots of skeletons >and even more skeletons to go with your skeletons >when you can COVER THE ENTIRE MAP with skeletons >when you can COVER THE WORLD with skeleton >when you can MAKE AN ENTIRE WORLD of skeletons >when you can CREATE A PLANET MADE OUT of skeletons >when you can CREATE A SOLAR SYSTEM out of skeletons
Zachary King
I was thinking of modern day navies when I started making those so I wanted the carrier to be the biggest one, but starcraft thoughts appeared when I made the second one(the battlecruiser).
