Arteezy is the best dota player I have ever seen. He's the X factor that makes a team unbeatable. If you have him on your team you know until the very end of the match that it won't be lost until it's over. His mechanics when playing mid will win you any matchup that is even. If he's got even the slightest advantage he will take it and carry the game with it. If you have him on your team you will always want to have him carry aegis because he will have the highest impact on the teamfight. If you watch his perspective throughout the game you will find that he is constantly watching every lane. He's not only a mid player. He's a team player. He is the heart of the team. He is Arteezy.

Give me one good reason not to buy Dragon Lance on every single ranged hero

Troll is technically a ranged hero but you will do most, if not all, of your fighting as a melee.
