Yes it did. The PC version has them on roughly half the maps, even the ones from the console version that didn't have them.
In addition to this it has other things on multiplayer maps that were exclusive to campaign, such as fuel rods (which ran on a battery) and banshees.
It also introduced the rocket hog.

PC, which means by association also Custom Edition, but they were in the default PC release.

The MCC actually uses the PC versions of the maps, so if you go play Halo CE multiplayer maps on MCC, there's things like flamethrowers and fuel rods lying around, which were not there on original Xbox.

To expand on the other guy, you'll need to download the Anniversary Update manually.

I know this is a joke but if any version is canonical it's actually the PC version because that's the version used in MCC

I think it's a bit silly to use MCC as the judge since it was/is such a hodge podge.
I assume they chose the versions for MCC based on what was easiest to work with and what code they still had on hand.

It was one of the weaker weapons in the game, it didn't help that so many Halo 2 games had BR starts and there was no reason pick up anything else unless it was just rocket sword sniper or something when BR was better. I don't even think most maps had it as a default weapon, I know backwash did and maybe ivy tower, but I might be remembering wrong.

You don't understand. There's no reason for you to be in the normal company. See, companies have commendations to unlock by completing certain challenges and statistics within halo 5 matchmaking. PC players literally can't contribute to that.

What rank were you guys? Duel wielding is not that great. PP + Magnum is nice but most is mediocre.
You can easily control lockout with a br vs some guy trying to duel wield.

I got up to rank 38.
It really depends on the game type a lot more than the map.
Team Slayer varients tend to be all about the BR.
Free For All will often benefit you more if you dual wield

I got to 40 and then hit a wall.
Some maps are absolutely BR fests, no doubt.
Others it's the exact opposite.

I don't know, Customs General just isn't fit for its purpose and without the description you wouldn't even know it was for PC players. Customs work in both companies. Retards don't bother reading descriptions they should both be Halo General and Halo General PC if you ask me but apparently the latter is taken so anything with hg and pc in would be an ideal name
