What are my chances of being able to run Dragon Age 2 and/or Dragon Age: Inquisition with this computer? I'm shooting for Low and possibly being able to record it in 4:3 upscaled to 720p 30fps.

I don't know about that. DA:I also makes GPU burst into flames sometimes but mostly it is very CPU heavy. When CPU and GPU are one and the same thing (like it is with him) it will probably be a slideshow.

He could try it out by pirating I guess but don't buy.

It looked nice but I can't remember a single thing I liked about it now

The location is really pretty, you learn more about Avvar, spirits, and the last Inquisitor, as well as Orlais, since some stuff about Drakon is revealed too.

I honestly liked it a lot, there is a lot to explore and discover and I got the feeling most of the stuff about spirits they tell you in that DLC will be pretty relevant, considering what elves seemed to be. You even find information about the Forgotten Ones, the "rivals" of the Evanuris

I don't know what you mean. I just know that I'm not capable to work with hardware outside of maybe upgrading the GPU. And even then that's risky because I'm not good with hardware.

For me the most irritating part is how she constantly questions magic and old shit in the world. She's uncomfortable with accepting the fact that the world isn't as mundane or "normal" as she wants it to be, and therefore anything that fits out of her frame of reference is evil/a lie. The worst part of it is that she's part of the Inquisition. You knew from the start that this whole deal would be about trying to stop something that's tearing open holes in the sky. Did you really think it was going to have a mundane explanation?

I haven't bought it yet. I've still got to save up money for it. I'm on a limited fixed income because I'm Autistic so I can't just go out and buy things willy nilly. I live on maybe $55-$75 a week once bills are paid and since I live in California most of that goes to groceries. Luckily my mom is good at saving up money and so I have her as my payee.

Neither is the one I'm using right now but I still make Let's Plays with it. I can't go out and buy a $5,000 gaming machine like some privileged millennial pissbaby. I have to live within my means, and that means I have to make due with low-end equipment.

Besides, I do this because I have fun doing it and it's kind of cathartic for me. I don't even mind getting content ID claims like most people unless they block my content in some countries, like when I played Space Funeral.

Either way, I've got to do the best I can and make due with what I'm able to make due with. I appreciate the concern though.

Dragon Age: Origins is turning out to be an alright game, though the combat is a little boring and there are no characters I want to romance. I do want the Ultimate Edition so that I can get the holiday gift DLC and make everyone like me, but that's about it.

I think Lukas is pretty good at writing immature characters in general (he did Grunt and Carver) but Sera went above and beyond that

The thing is, they acknowledge that magic exists, is real, and influences basically every events of Inquisition or at least the majority of them.

Cassandra is a Seeker, Cullen is an ex-Templar, so they worked extremely close to magic and mages, know its risks, know how it works more or less and don't get scared when they can't understand something.

Bull is probably among those who best know how influential and dangerous magic can be, because the Qunari drill that thought into their people since from birth.

So he is bothered by spirits, demons, and spells, but fights against them without pretending they aren't there. And in the end, he even grows fond of Cole and respects him, acknowledging him as a person even if he's a spirit. Same counts for Vivienne, who is a mage and believes magic must be kept under control, but also used to help.

Sera doesn't fit any of that. She just shuts her eyes an covers her ears when magic is mentioned, pretends not to see the Breach in the sky, even the mention of spirits disgusts her, doesn't respect anyone's belief or religion, and lives an empty, ignorance life.

You can get a very good gaming PC for 800-1000 that will carry you for many years, just save it up. There are enough shitty games with no hardware requirements to make LPs of to pass the time.

Yeah, she is a bitch with everyone. She gets along with Blackwall only because he is the most "normal" among the companions and reminds her of Grey Wardens in general, who she respects because the Hero of Ferelden gave her a painted box when she was little.
