hey guys i just installed the fallout 3 again after a long time away

the only problem i ever had with the game is the rpg accuracy so is there any mods yyou guys can recommend that make the accuracy realistic for firearms and lazers?

Not all ranged weapons have a minimum spread > 1. If you want to make yourself stupidly overpowered by giving fully automatic weapons 0 spread, google around for it.

i'm not just looking for 0 spread on my character but to make guns act like guns where the damage is equal to me as it is to enemies.

Spice of Life adds a lot for you to chose from, ranging from Western drifer to saloon boss style outfits.

There is also a mod which adds Clint Eastwood's western outfit from the dollars trilogy.

Finally if you want hats, sackful of hats adds a bunch of new, cowboy style headwear pieces. Best thing about the mod, it takes its inspiration from a variety of sources. Some are hidden in the game and some are bought at Chet's, and the other day I found Charles Bronson's hat from Once upon a time in America.

You can basically be accidentally recruited, and then make the choice to no longer persue your quest because being an Enclave soldier is comfy as fuck. It's kind of dimmed by not having an ending, except the 13 year limit, which you can assume is them finally getting the Modified FEV right and everyone dying.

The NPC Project mods add more npcs to certain areas that are lacking, but honestly it feels like bloatware because it adds far too much in places it isn't needed. I ran into like 20 "Goodspring civilians" as soon as left Doc Mitchells.

The only one I run worth a dam is NPCs Travel, which adds roaming merchants to the game. They do attack enemies when threatened, although this can be toggled off. Combined with some mods like Spice of Life which adds more clothes/armor, you'll get a lot more variety of the traveling merchants.

Vegas itself is where Obsidian really dropped the ball, or ran out of time. Ideally, the entire north of the map should have been the start of the Vegas ruins (in the same way the bottom corner of the FO3 map was the DC ruins) even if you could only enter and explore Freeside and the Strip. They could have left it to the modders from there. Instead, they basically built a Bethesda settlement, where the sprawling ruins of a city are around the size of Megaton or Diamond City. Even the levelled buidlings around the outside of Vegas-proper don't do too much to make it feel less shit.

My only issue with this mod is again it can lead to bloat. I only have the small population version installed because of the stupid amount of npcs it shoves in the Atomic Wrangler and Gomorrah, which feels really weird when you consider how dead the outside world space is.

Found it. Now, i know they couldn't have done this and had it fully explorable, but they could have at least worked on the illusion. For all it's faults, Fallout 3 did the D.C. ruins right. It felt sprawling and you felt as though you were only exploring a portion of it.

Couldn't this gimp you out of everything ending but Yesman? You can mess up an entire NCR run for example by flipping a coin at, lets say Nelson, and you decide to start shooting at the ranger. You could maybe work around this with a "second chance" coin flip when working with your chosen faction.

The other issue is how do you chose what faction to go for, providing you work around Yesman only endings like I said.

I prefer vanilla faces with NVCE. You don't get the ugly, overly dark same face with FCO, and at the same time you remove the potato oblivion faces from Oblivion. Plus it's lore friendly, and fixes some character issues like Vulpes looking nothing like his playing card.

For fear of sparking off raeg, goes FO4 really screw with the Enclave Power armor lore? It's all X01 in the game, and I could have sworn the Enclave stuff was an 'Advance' on that. Thus Advanced Power Armor, and Advance Power Armor MK2. I assume they look the same because the Enclave still uses the style/template of the 'new' pre-war armor due to it being the last thing the military complex put out.
