I never got to G-Rank in FU but from what I saw in vids and in frontier it was just a plesioth that could spit molten rocks at you while it hides out of reach in the lava pits.

I really like fighting it in Gen but I hate that it still only ever goes to those two areas, it makes the dual lavasioth quest more of a pain than it needs to be

Uh, but Adept CB is one of the least inclined to go memesol. They like to go Load Up Art Novice attack stacking instead.

Best for Attack Up is Rathalos S, or you could go Barrage Earring + Brachydios S for Load Up, Challenger +2 and gemmed in Art Novice, before even considering a charm.

Ukanlos + artillery charm is great, but it looks like shit.

Single player is a must. You need to advance those villager quest chains to get anywhere and you will be a shitter so long as you haven't completed Advanced: Out of the Frying Pan and got the meme feather.
