Lots of new mechanics, vendor recipes and changes to old mechanics. I recommend just reading the major patch notes for each league since 2.0.0.

In general, it's a billion times easier to cheat items to be better now than way back in 1.0.0.

i want more trigger gems or reworks of gems or just more, way more notables.
something like hits have a chance to instantly repeat like echo.
blocking has a chance to reflect the blocked damage amplified.
projectiles home in on enemies.
dealing a certain amount of damage to an enemy does something special or buffs you.
having a summon that is a copy of whatever you killed last or whatever its attacking.
having more non minion specific summons is also a great idea like maybe a crow that sometimes copies a ranged attack or a wolf that maybe gets your attackskill.

gameplay content-wise has been really treated badly these last few leagues.

Obviously bypass their filter substituting characters that look like the letters.
